Hotel Shree Aaradhy — Hotel in Ujjain

I stayed in this hotel from 30th to 31st March. My room number was 405. Hotel is just outside Ujjain Railway station. I found lobby of the hotel descent. We were showed two rooms both the rooms were filthy. As we were in hurry, we opted for one room. After entering the room we asked staff to get the room cleaned on which they were instating that room was cleaned. There were tea marks on table as if they were left for days without any cleaning. When I asked them to come to room and showed ladies hairs on bed and floor they reluctantly agreed to sweep the room. Towels and bed sheets were too dirty. We requested them to change. They got few bed sheets which were pale in color and many small holes smelling like a rat. As we were in hurry for our next meeting we left the room for our meeting. We were informed that they will make the room clean. Please note we had prepaid the rent else would have preferred to leave it. After coming to room we found, still old and smelly bed sheets and blanket cover was like never washed for ages. After making some noise Mr. Lokesh who is the owner of the hotel came and said he will make all thing better. We were later told that there are no blanket covers in the hotel and they will blanket as it is. As we were tired of the overnight travel we decided to stay put and sleep. After few moments we found window doesn’t have grill. Room is on 3rd floor. Hoe can hotel room doesn’t have any grill and it is possible that person / kids may slip outside the window and mishap can take place. Windows are just above the bed. Floor lobby is very smelly and full of dust. Staff enters the hotel room with shoes making room dirty again. They did not care to give door mat to take care of the dust from outside and water from bathroom. After dinner (which decided not to eat in hotel as it was very dirty) we thought to see IPL. TV was on but not able to get any channel, we called up staff to help. We were told that they have paid the cable operator but he has not started the connection. We struggling with mosquitos, after seeing we are in trouble some age old mosquito killer (not liquid ) was sent. ||||In the morning, when we went to take bath we found there was no hot water. In earlier day, we checked in ad day hence there was hot water. Three of us took bath but water remained cold only. Around 9 AM we gave keys to reception asking him to clean the room. We returned after 6 hours, we were told that room is not cleaned. We were upset as we wanted to take rest. We were told that only our room was not cleaned rest all hotel was cleaned. We found only 3-4 rooms occupied in the hotel and rest all was empty. Surprised that hotel took so much time to clean room. After entering the room we found nothing was done. We called staff to clean the room, he started arguing that we never informed the reception. Then he started arguing that room is clean. Please not bed is not made, towel lying on the floor, bathroom not mopped. But staff is arguing that room is clean. We called the manager, Mr Lokesh came stating that he is the owner and as per him room was clean (bed not made, towel lying on the floor, dust all around the room). We asked him as room cleaned he said. Then I lost my temper and blasted him. Initially he started arguing and as usual started to give apologies. For anything he says there is problem. No TV, No bedding cleaning, No Grill, Dusty floor lobby, no hot water. For everything he says there is labor issue, management issue and TV issue. In the previous night when we asked for the extra towel another hotel owner very arrogantly said it is our policy not to give towel again. All in all very useless hotel, non-cooperative staff arrogant owner. As I have stayed in various Treebo hotel, I had some expectations from this hotel. After this experience, I am not sure whether I should believe Treebo or not. I strongly recommend Treebo to cancel the membership...

All the rooms have some or the other problem. In some rooms only one light works in the entire room on the other the washroom lacked window glass thereby giving a freeway to the mosquitoes to enter. TV did not work for our entire stay for 2 days. The room A/C had water leak issue in the end had to keep a bucket in the room under the AC ad we were quite tired to change the hotel and room. The guy at the reception tried to help but i think the management is not bothered about maintenance of the hotel as they have major issues that need to be resolved. The rooms are small but okay. Wifi was working. Location is...
