Masroor Residency Hotel/Homestay Apartments - Pretty Garden View — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

We stayed at this residency for two days, having paid an advance directly instead of booking online. We learned about the place from someone in Varanasi. After checking in at 1 PM on the first day, we freshened up and went for darshan. When we returned around 10 PM, we discovered there was no water. We tried contacting several people for help, but no one responded. Even after calling the owner, he simply told us that there was a borewell issue and water wouldn't come. We had to buy water from outside just to manage for the night.

The next morning, the same issue persisted—no water. We kept calling, but there was no response, and there were no proper amenities in the room either. It felt like they were only focused on taking money, and none of the employees were available to help. There was no receptionist or security at the property. The whole experience felt like a scam.

I strongly advise against booking this place. We wasted a lot of time and effort traveling, only to face such problems. The owners act like rowdies, and if you question them, they become aggressive. At one point, the owner even showed up with 10 people, smoking and drinking, threatening us when we tried to raise our concerns.

Please do not waste your time or money on this place. Our experience was terrible, and I recommend others to avoid it...

Owner was very polite and nice but certain elements were thoroughly missing in the residency to make it a complete satisfactory stay. Mentioned below are the pro & con Pros-

1. Nice clean apartment with spacious rooms
2. Location is a quiet/peaceful place
3. Classy Flat/residency
4. Good for a big family

Cons-

1. Not enough utensils to use the kitchen
2. Bed not comfortable
3. Certain amenities like sofa, washing machine etc is not available, although bots there on the pics shared in forums...
4. Lift is a big pain
5. No handwash or soap available
6. Blankets are ultra thin
7. TV was not working
8. Auto/eRickshaw not readily available and had to walk down for few minutes, could be painful for heavy & elderly people.
9. The most painful part is the housekeeper isnt always available and mostly replies that am not nearby, which is annoying.
10. Was requested to leave early because of new attendees, wherby the forums state that we can check...

Extremely extremely well maintained in terms of cleanliness, spacious, furnished. everything is on point. you definitely will not feel away from your home. and the people to assist you are extremely helpful and humble.
