It offers a unique blend of peace, mysticism, and deep spiritual energy, making it a must-visit for those seeking more than just conventional religious experiences.
Unique Architecture тАУ A Japanese Connection
One of the most fascinating aspects of this ashram is its distinctive Japanese-style architecture. This blend of cultures symbolizes the universal nature of Aghor wisdom, which transcends geographical and religious boundaries. The architecture itself adds to the serene and meditative atmosphere of the ashram, making it an ideal place for spiritual seekers.
Serene Environment & Meditation Spaces

One of the most spiritually charged spots in the complex is the Bhairav temple, where the vibrations are intense. Many devotees and seekers find this space particularly powerful for deep meditation and spiritual experiences.
Akhand Dhooni тАУ The Eternal Sacred Fire
A defining feature of the ashram is the Akhand Dhooni, a sacred fire that has been burning continuously for centuries. It was originally kindled by Baba Keenaram and has never been extinguished since. This eternal fire represents divine knowledge, transformation, and the unbroken spiritual lineage of the Aghoris. Visitors often sit near the Akhand Dhooni to absorb its energy and experience the profound sense of calm and enlightenment that it radiates.
Sacred Pond & Its Spiritual Significance
The ashram also houses a sacred pond, which is believed to possess spiritual and purifying properties. Many devotees sit by the pond for quiet contemplation, as it is said to enhance inner clarity and peace. The presence of water, combined with the ashramтАЩs meditative aura, creates a harmonious environment for self-reflection and spiritual growth.
Teachings & Philosophy
Baba Keenaram Ashram is a center for understanding the true essence of Aghor philosophy, which promotes non-dualism, acceptance, detachment from material desires, and universal compassion. Unlike the common misconceptions about Aghoris, the teachings here focus on self-purification, service to humanity, and inner transformation. The monks and caretakers are open to guiding seekers who wish to explore this lesser-known but profound spiritual path.
