I’ve never been to a shittier hotel in my whole life, not anywhere in the world!!!So let me put in written what happened since I checked in at this bad excuse for a hotel:
1 - when I got to the room the bathtub of room 3112 was FILTHY, it was dirty with some yellowish or light brownish stuff. Me and my wife were both so disgusted that I IMMEDIATELY went to the hotel reception to tell what was happening and to ask for someone to clean the bathtub thoroughly. Someone did came to our room with some kind of cleaning agent and a sponge. Your employee did start cleaning the bathtub and scrubbing hard, and to my bewilderment the sponge started to turn brownish or darker of all the dirt it was removing from the bathtub.
2 - Ventilation in the bathroom is non existent, really strange for a 5 star hotel, but I guess this is also Indian quality standards for a 5 star hotel…
3 - When me and my wife went to the restaurant to have dinner or breakfast both me and my wife along with some friends that are traveling with us noticed that your employees were taking drinking glasses from the tables people have eaten in and were checking them against light sources, to see if they were used or not by the people that ate in the table. And if they thought that the glasses weren’t used they would put those glasses straight to another table!! Are this the hygiene standards that a 5 star hotel has or should have? To make things even worse and more disgusting, at dinner one of the glasses at our table was dirty. It was totally noticeable that glass had been used by someone even though it was on a clean table. I might be unlucky but I grabbed one of the plates from underneath the table where the hot food is in the buffet and it had a yellow stain of some sort of yellow sauce. That plate shouldn’t be on the piles of clean dishes.
4 - The refrigerator on my room wasn’t working. Strange that no one noticed it, or then again someone might have noticed it because there was nothing in the fridge, no food no beverages, no nothing! Nothing in the fridge when we got to the room and usually at 5 star hotels, at least in the good ones, there’s always at least beverages in the refrigerator. None in this room, room 3112, so the reason for that might be that there was no reason to put anything there as it wouldn’t get cold.
5 – Maintenance people switched refrigerators and my wife left the room to meet me and my friends at their room to go out to dinner. As I was feeling unwell I came back to my room, room 3112, and that was when I found one of the hotel employees in my room without being asked to come to the room or enter the room!! The door was closed, I opened it with my card, and I surprised the employee. He was noticeably scared when he saw me, and couldn’t give me a proper answer to why he was at the room. He told me in a lousy English that he came to the room to see if we needed more water or more towels, but we had just been in the room and the room was more than fine and clean, the fridge was working, so nothing was required. We had enough towels, clean towels, and 4 water bottles in the room 2 more in the bathroom. Why the hell would two people about to leave early in the morning would need more water?? So totally bogus answer to my question of what the hell was he doing here! So I asked if hotel duty manager if employees enter rooms for no reason, and what would have happened if my wife was there alone, or if it was safe for my wife to be alone in the room for periods of time. The manager on duty, Mr Ravi, after I insisted with him told me that if my wife was alone in the room maybe it would be better to put the chain on the door and lock it from the inside, just to be on the safe side. I NEVER EVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE HEARING THIS FROM THE MOUTH OF A 5 STAR HOTEL MANAGER!! I really think he was being sincere at that time, but I find that truly unbelievable!! My wife IS POSITIVE THAT SOMEONE OPENED HER BACKPACK AND WENT THROUGH HER STUFF BECAUSE THERE WAS A SMALL BAG INSIDE The BACKPACK THAT SHE WAS WAS...

I regret to say that our experience at Ramada plaza during our stay has been quite disappointing. While the ambiance and potential of the establishment are evident, several aspects of our stay have left us dissatisfied.
The first impression was set by the poor service at the main gate, where the guard did not assist us with our luggage upon our arrival or departure from the hotel. This lack of assistance was unexpected and detracted from the overall experience.
Our check-in process was far from smooth, despite a prior request for a smooth check-in at 5:00 p.m. ( as we are traveling with and infant) Unfortunately, the rooms were not ready for us at the stipulated time. This delayed check-in was an inconvenience, especially after our earlier request, and it was disheartening to see the lack of punctuality.
Upon finally entering our rooms, we noticed that cleanliness was an issue. The rooms required dusting and vacuuming, suggesting a lack of attention to detail by the housekeeping staff. The state of our rooms upon arrival was not up to the standard one would expect from a reputable establishment.
Our dining experience further added to our disappointment. An order for a thick crust pizza in the restaurant resulted in a thin crust pizza being served to us. Even though the menu clearly stated "thick crust," the chef informed us that only thin crust pizzas were available ( probably they should have informed and not accepted the order). This inconsistency between the menu and the actual offerings was frustrating.
Additionally, the garlic bread we ordered turned out to be without both garlic and cheese, despite being listed as such on the menu. This blatant oversight in preparing a basic dish was unexpected and reflected a lack of attention to culinary standards.
Lastly, we requested a feedback form multiple times but did not receive one after three requests. This lack of initiative to gather feedback showcased a lack of interest in improving the guest experience and addressing the concerns of visitors.
In conclusion, our stay at Ramada plaza has been marked by poor service at the main gate, delayed check-in, subpar room cleanliness, inconsistent food offerings, and a disregard for guest feedback. While the potential of the hotel is evident, these issues have overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. We hope that Ramada plaza takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more satisfactory experience for...
Read moreI stayed here with my family for three days and had booked three rooms between the 1st and 4th of August. This was by far our absolute worst experience in a hotel.
The rooms we were shown were incredibly suffocating and reeked of cigarette smoke. When we asked the staff to show us different rooms or open the windows because we had two asthmatic patients with us, they refused to do either.
After much insistence, they showed us other similar rooms but demanded we pay more if we wanted to switch.
The wifi was virtually useless, and most of our devices were not even able to connect. When we complained, they asked us to pay more for a decent wifi connection.
Most of the amenities advertised on the website are completely bogus and never existed. They falsely advertise having a hot tub, an indoor tennis court, an outdoor tennis court, and a games room. The amenities that did exist at some point, like the gift shop, lounge, cafe, and steam room, were all under construction and had been shut down for a while.
To make things worse, we could not sleep due to the constant hammering sounds from the construction in the rooms above us. We also couldn't have the breakfast buffet or eat in any of the restaurants because of the fumes from the painting and hammering in the main lobby right outside the restaurants.
Every day, the electricity in the entire hotel would trip roughly 5-6 times for about half a minute each time.
Whenever we requested that they stop the painting work so we could eat or the hammering so we could sleep, they would just say that they had construction going on throughout the entire hotel and could not stop the work. Renovation at this scale had apparently been ongoing for more than a year with the property still open and running.
The management seemed to be either uninformed about the issues in the hotel or just didn't care.
The only good thing was that the food being served was edible, and the service from housekeeping and during dinner was decently fast.
The property is an unsafe and unhealthy place to stay and should be thoughly reviewed by consumer court for false advertisement of amenities and harrasment of the guests staying there.
I recommend to...
