We enjoyed river rafting....Nice experience . Must try when visiting rishikesh. Our stretch was from marine drive to shivpuri. I will suggest this stretch for family as it is less vigorous then shivpuri to laxman jhoola stretch. There are many outlets through which you can book ,all charge more or less same i.e 620rs per person ( adventure guru charged 650rs ) . Instructor who goes with you for river rafting are professionals . For videography they have gopro ...Mobile phones you can carry with you as they have dry bag with them. We did rafting and stayed in a camp associated with them, in Nov'23.

Rafting was brilliant. Our guide's name was Sachin Rawat - a gem of person and great guide. Guided us in rafting leisurely and did not do any hurry and constantly encouraged us. One of best experiences I had.

Camping - We did camping in camp named Wondrous Camp at nearby hillock of Shivouri. It's absolutely worst place - the location area is totally off main river and is full of dust and pollution. We didn't know location and had booked it. It's better to take a small hotel near ganga's bank which would ahve given better experience. Staff wasn't much courteous and there...
