Disappointing Stay at Cedar Resort

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Cedar Resort, and my experience was utterly disappointing. The room I was assigned was nothing like the one shown during booking. The condition of the room was appalling - it was dirty, with stained towels (including blood and tea stains), uncomfortable pillows, and a broken roof with visible ceiling damage.

The room was infested with cockroaches and lizards, making it unbearable. The washroom was a total mess, unclean, and poorly maintained. The quality of toiletries provided was subpar, and we chose not to use them.

To make matters worse, there were no phones in the room to communicate with reception, and our requests to upgrade or get a refund were ignored.

Overall, my stay at Cedar Resort was a complete disaster. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked 4 rooms here. Rooms are very small. If u want an extra bed.. there is no space for moving around in the room. The rooms were untidy, a little stinky, with many spider webs and dust. One of the rooms was so small that there was no space for an extra bed but they committed us that they provide an extra bed there as well. In the other room, the roof was dripping due to rainfall. Food service is also below average. We ordered noodles... One of the staff members first went to buy raw noodles then he cooked and provided us after 2 hrs. On the check out day.. we asked for more bread toast and we waited for an hour but all in vain. When we were leaving the hotel, hotel boy was coming with the bread from the market. Necessary items were unavailable. Although the staff was kind enough. They were helpless. They said humei Jo provide Kiya jata hai uske according we do.. we are helpless

Stayed here for 2 night, 3 days and the overall experience was really good! The rooms are nice and clean, so are the washrooms. While some things from the menu weren't available to order due to bird flu and availibilty issues, The food was absolutely amazing! Really well cooked and delicious! (We didn't go for the breakfast and dinner included package and ordered from the menu itself, the prices are alright. Not too pricey. The location is a little further away from the Naini Lake, mall road and all, but it's not a huge issue if you've got a rental or taxi. There's a beautiful view of the city, right outside, where you can have food and enjoy dinner with live music! The price was also pretty nice, budget friendly, 2400rs for a night. It's quiet, cute and overall pleasent. The staff was very helpful, polite and respectful too. 8/10,...
