Hotel Neelesh Inn - A Luxury Lake View Hotel (20 kms from Nainital) — Hotel in Uttarakhand

The hotel was excellent. Truly value for money. I have stayed with family for one night. It was wonderful and memorable. PROS: Excellent location. Just on the bank of Bhimtal lake. Easy to reach and very beautiful lake view. Free parking is provided. They have got enough parking space. Rooms were good even though it was old fashioned. Room was well maintained and big enough. Large double bed was provided which was enough for myself, wife and two kids. If needed they will provide extra bed also (may be chargeable). Kettle and tea/coffee pouch were also provided. Had a flat screen TV also ( We did not use the TV) Bathroom/toilet was neat and clean. Basic toiletries were provided except tooth brush and tooth paste. (Soap, hand wash, shampoo, moisturiser, towels etc were provided. Hot water was available 24 hrs. Commendable outside area/garden/ lake view sitting/dining area. Beautifully maintained garden area with dining facility. We had our food/snacks from garden and other open setup they provided. We can have tea/food by experiencing nice breeze and beautiful lake view. Well behaved and supporting staff. I had to change the date of stay due to health problem. They cooperated and changed the date free of cost. Nice and tasty food with enough varieties. Excellent and fast service also. They have got a nice restaurant also ( we did not had food in restaurant, we used their open setup for all our dining/tea) CONS: NIL OVERALL IT WAS AN AWESOME STAY IN NEELESH INN , BHIMTAL. Nice hotel with beautiful bhimtal lake view. Food was delicious and fresh. And room service was also good. Room We have booked was having superb view from room windows and very spacious. Room and bathroom was sanitized. We spent quality time and enjoyed the view. We tried veg biryani, veg pulao, tomato soup and butter tost, all were tasty and fresh. Tea was also good. You can also enjoy food and snacks at the shops near the lake which is cheaper than hotel food menu. Some restaurant are also there.You can also go for morning walk. It was awesome to go for morning walk near the lake. You will definitely enjoy the walk. If you are going to Bhimtal then you should book Neelesh Inn. You can visit Nainital, Sattal, Nakuchiya taal easily from this hotel location. Nainital is 21 kms from Bhimtal and Nakuchiya taal is only 4 kms. Some other beautiful locations you can visit in Nainital from Bhimtal like - Himalaya view point, snow view point, sukha tal, Nainital lake view point and many more. Boating is now available in Bhimtal and Nainital. You can enjoy boating also. But I suggest you to do boating in Nainital lake. In Nainital, boating is cheaper than other lakes. We took their lake view cottages with private garden. Those are their most expensive rooms. Maintenance of rooms was really pathetic. Toilet seat was broken from the hinges. Toilets smelled really bad despite exhaust fan running continuously. Many light in the rooms were not working. Door mats were extremely dirty. Sofa's were dirty and dusty.

To top it all up their bedroom roof started leaking. Continuously dripping water on the pillow. On reporting they repaired it and rain stopped at that time. Again after 2 hours rain started and roof started leaking again and this time from 2 spots. Again they sent some people to repair on complaint but they simply put platic sheet on the roof. This process created so much noise that my toddler woke up and was cranky the rest of the day.

Our ordeal was not over yet, at 1 in the night roof again started leaking. By this time we were fed up and we simply moved on the sofa cum bed outside. Waiting for our stay to finish.

On complaint to manager next morning after checkout formalities . He simply said we attended to your problem every time you reported. I mean that says everything about hospitality at this place.
