OYO Flagship Hotel City Palace — Hotel in Uttarakhand

fraudsters...rude staff....greedy people.... did not honour advance-paid bookings by oyorooms tonight...sold out their rooms to other guests for extra money....

the reception staff and manager should be made to stand naked on prince chowk and beaten with shoes in public for denying me a booked and paid room....and arguing on my arrival at the hotel...if they claim to be so courteous, they could have already transferred my booking to a nearby hotel themselves, at the same price...or at least informed me before-hand....

the owners should be fined and the staff jailed for this breech of trust and dishonouring the business contract, without any prior intimation....caused me so much inconvenience and time loss of two hours at...

Let me start with "Do not ever go to this place". They will overcharge you and will not even give you the basic amenities. When asked for towels they will start making excuses like laundry is wet we will give you towels in the morning etc etc. They dont have centralized gyser and the one which is installed will give you the lukewarm water and only for sometime. Then you have to wait for water to get warm while bathing. You are already fed up from travel then you pay good amount for hotel but you then have to fight for your comfort. The hotel is very neat, clean & good accomodation option within the affordable price range. The Location is very convenient as it is city centre & crowded area court road. You will find lots of food options with just a walkable distance from hotel. You may find local transportation options also on the next crossing from hotel. Hotel has quite standard size rooms along with basic in room amenities but bathrooms need to be renovated. If you are a looking for good night stay options, this is recommended one.
