The Rink Pavilion — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Last weekend I along with my wife and kids travelled to Uttarakhand for a break. Since 15th August weekend was too crowded we chose to travel a week earlier. We had 3 nights in all and we contacted Sidus Galaxy in Chakrata and while discussing our stay at Galaxy we were told about a new addition to Sidus family that is Sidus Rink. On hearing Rink I was taken a back because I had been to Rink Pavilion about 10 years back and I really loved the location of hotel being next to mall road. So we planned two nights at Galaxy and 1 night at Rink. Both locations have charm of their own, we found peace and tranquillity at Galaxy and mall road which is full of surprises at Rink. The ride too (from Galaxy to Rink) which was about 2 hours was breath-taking with beautiful views, not so crowded roads and roads too were in good condition. On the way we had a break at Yamuna pul with mandatory maggie along yamuna river. ||Once we reached Rink I was awestruck the originality of the hotel has been maintained and the new furbished rooms were neat and comfortable. I Stayed at The Rink Pavilion with my wife and we took a Deluxe Room. The view from the room was just perfect, but the room in itself could be better furnished. I payed around Rs.6000/- per night and it was not worth the cost. The bathroom looked decent but the taps and the shower needs some repair.

I loved the property but for the amount they charged me, i would have wanted everything to be spic and span. Otherwise, i enjoyed my stay here. The staff was nice and helpful. Hotel is good, as some facilities are not available like, we dont get enough water, shampoo for bathing and no small towels too, always we had to request for things and service is horrible not going to be available for you guys 24/7. After 10 they are not available for assistance, even if u take highest room, we dont get much facilities and the hotel is situated behind the mall road which is very difficult to reach there and not very good neighborhood too.
