The Tiger Groove Resort and Spa — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Just loved the comfortable stay.

I visited this place on New year time I.e 30th Dec 2017. We were 4 persons with one baby.

Let me highlight things that we loved or we enjoyed most

Comfortable stay All the staff was very helpful and very polite. They were always ready for any help. Rooms were clean and spacious. I just loved the location, it's location is in village so that's why it is very peaceful area and due to limited mobile coverage this makes this place a destressor. Every room has a lawn in front of room, we spent quality time with friends under the bright sun. Room service was very good.

Fun There are lots of fun activities to do, badminton , table tennis, carrom board and swimming pool. It was winter so we couldn't enjoy swimming rest all the activities we enjoyed a lot. We also rented cycles and roam around the village. It's not costly. It was good experience. New party night was organized. Daily camp fire was organized .

Food All the three time full course meals were included in our package. Since this place is in village so you have no option of restaurant or something out of the resort. But the food quality is also one of the main reason we loved this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner prepration was just wonderful. The restaurant was very clean and they serve tasty food. On new year evening before cocktail party there was a counter for snacks. Everyone there in resort loved the snacks preparation. New year cocktail party was also organized , because we didn't drink alcohol so we enjoyed dinner We ordered tea and pakora at odd time but they cooked tasty pakora for us.

So overall this stay was very good for us. We took good rest, had a good quality food and had a lot of fun, all things were possible because of good company as well. So for me 5 star for this property and for rhe staff as well.

Negative things were, let me think....?............ No I don't find anything wrong 😀 Once again I have to say the hospitality...

I stayed at the hotel on 10th and 11th March 2021 thru Veena World. Service Complaint: (1) Upon check in I was allotted a room stinking with fungus, power plugs were hanging, washroom geyser and exhaust fan were not working. Our tour manager got me shifted to another room. Although this room 102 was not stinking but had persistent issues with geyser. At one time geyser was not working, I called the technician who fixed it. Later nxt day same issue, again I had to call to get it fixed. Later in the day there was a leakage from geyser on electric switch. Again had to call technician to fix. During my entire visit I was trying to fix geyser. (2) My room 102 had an access door to another room. Although the door was locked, the occupants were banging the door, talking loudly. Since I was staying alone in the room, I felt very unsafe. I had to again call up reception and inform about this untoward incident. (3) Our tour leader had fixed up a wake up call at 630 am but the hotel staff gave wake up call at 530 am 😡 (4) Staff wanted to reach out to our tour manager. However instead of directly calling his room extension or mobile, the hotel staff called me twice to check his room number. This was very shocking as they could have checked his room number from their records instead of calling and disturbing guests.

Positive Feedback: Food was the only best part at the hotel. Rest everything needs upliftment. Exteriors are well maintained. Hence a word of caution, all that glitters is not gold. Dont go by the exterior looks, the service is pathetic, staff needs some serious training in hospitality. Will not recommend anyone to stay...

Though i have written a review on Trip Advisor already for The Tiger Groove, Corbett Resort, but today when i was searching some thing on google suddenly found The Tiger Groove name in front of me, i started day dreaming about my memorable vacation and great time which i had at Resort and after that couldn't stop my self to write again for the property.

Though its been 1 month time i visited the Resort but felt like yesterday only i came back from Resort. It was so good in every aspect that i can't forget it. Started from Welcome Drinks at check in time and ended on check out time, i felt FABULOUS for Service, Room, Food, Location & Staff.

Tittle of my review on Trip Advisor is "EXCELLENT FOR EVERYTHING" and i think this is the best Name for the best IDENTITY.

Recommend to all Nature Lovers and specially to those people who want relax in their life for the time being from the daily hectic schedule. Phone works a little bit somewhere is the best part, because i don't want anybody to disturb while i am on vacations. Location of the resort is MIND BLOWING, as you are staying in Nature.

If you know Driving and going for Safari in any National Park, you would always want to drive the car. I got the same feel while coming to Resort. Forest road, both side Jungle as if we are in No Man Land. Driving inside the Jungle its like out of the world experience.

Though there are lots of things coming in my mind to share with you all but to cut the long story short i want to say " I LOVE THE TIGER GROOVE " would love to come...
