A STAR IN VASAI In Mumbai when one has to think of a cinema hall in a far of suburb like Vasai the picture painted in the head may not be the best in class. However the latest introduction of Multiplex’s in Vasai is K movie star and it’s here to make a point. An initiative by Kaul builders in Vasai, K movie star is one of the swankiest and up market Multiplex’s in the Vasai-Virar belt. Situated at a distance of almost 2km from the station, the multiplex is situated within the perimeters of the plush Kaul’s residency in Bhabola, Vasai. What makes this piece of elegance stand out from other movie theaters in town is its practice of always running one mainstream regional feature film parallel to the many Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters on its colossal screens. From its 120 degree reclining cushioned seating to its halogen red inner railings, the aesthetics are top of the table. The styling of the spacious lounge has also not held back from impressing your senses along with the variety of refreshments available on its café menu. In many other malls and multiplexes in and around the western suburbs, the parking facilities continue to annoy a visitor, but this very need of the upwardly mobile residents of Vasai has been well catered to as K moviestar offers to its guests sophisticated underground parking at a very nominal token. What stands out to beat the best at their game is the so very reasonable and competitive pricing. With mainstream shows being screened at an affordable price of 100 bucks and the services on plate, one would very well consider the deal to be a steal. 100 is the value for regular shows on regular days, inclusive of weekends. The real delight is the morning 10am show which is priced at only Rs. 50. Wednesday and Thursday’s bring in their own charm as all shows irrespective of what time of the day you wish to grab a seat, you will get every single show at only Rs.50. The franchise owners and management here have been able to understand their target audience and their affordability preference finely. However attractive the pricing may seem the four screens multiplex hasn’t still managed to allure a very healthy crowd response yet. May be because it’s still finding its ground, and it’s early in its time to be attracting that kind of crowd a state of the art multiplex commands for. Also the location is a little hidden, concealed behind the daunting residential towers of Kaul’s heritage it’s view to the mainland town is a restricted. Apart from just a few decorative hoardings at the complex entrance there’s not been a lot of publicity and marketing that’s happened yet. Despite that the inflow of youth and young adults has been picking up firm momentum and it won’t be long before K moviestar occupies a prominent spot as a movie destination in the...

Recently visited this place with family, as the movie started it was go going good until you had more visitors disturbing your time I.e Mosquitoes
You Enjoy the bite of Somosa/popcorn they enjoy different variety of people. While you go down to admin’s office and explain them this worst situation they take it casually as they are used to it. Probably these are frequent visitors as they were flying everywhere (food zone, open area near food zone, admins office)
While reiterating this to the cleaner, these people instead of saying sorry are dailing numbers to some1 and then finally managed to bring a liquid which was nothing but “Air Freshner”. How in the world can bring Air Freshner?
After an interrogation with the staff he said they had already conducted mosquito killing session a day before by calling dhua wala. Then how we have more mosquitoes?
They were internally passing blame game as how mosquitoes entered the theater.
So as a conclusion if you stay in that area and you can’t explore different options then please carry some thing like Odomos as the management over there are assuming that area as a park...

Movie Experience: Recently watched Kashmir Files and the screen clarity was poor. In today's age where theaters are moving towards HD screens it seemed like they have old age SD projectors. Screen is also small.
Food/Snacks management: These guys are looting ppl while buying snacks. Please check the final bill (attached image) after buying a popcorn and water bottle. The actual total comes to Rs. 257 but they have calculated Rs. 270. When asked they said it's 5% GST charged. The bill however does not have a GSTIN number nor biferication of GST charges. Thus this way they r cheating the customers and the government by collecting money from customers in name of GST and not passing it to the govt. Also in today's age of Gpay/Paytm etc. these guys ask for cash or card. This further proves the point of something fishy going on. Just imagine how much money must be going in their pockets every time you buy snacks! Be careful from these...
