Actually it is not look like Resort but it looks like Hotel. It has Swimming pool which is backside of Hotel but no special view of it. It has a GAME ROOM and Gym room together in very congested place. They have Carrom Board but no Table. They have Table Tennis Equipment but no Table. Therefore, No use of Game room for Relaxation and enjoyment.
ROOMS: Good but can be improved. The recharge of tv sometimes doesn't work. Good Hygienic Toilet.
FOOD: I find Positive thing here especially for PURE VEG. People. Although options were limited but it was Quality, tasty vegetarian food. I find very good Vegetarian tasty food here in all my Kerala Tour. Breakfast was not buffet as they provide buffet only in WEEKENDS. However, Breakfast was good.
LOCATION:It is on the other side of beach. From the Balcony one can see the some segment of Beach. It is not on beach side unlike most resorts in Goa.
SERVICE: Good Service. Helpful Staff. Good Behaviour. Served Welcome Drink. Drinking Water availability is also good unlike other hotels which provide 1 litre free water and then charge extra amount.
OVERALL: Although Cherai is not the must visit place in Kerala. But still when one has Cherai in their itinerary then the BLUE WATERS HOTEL( RESORT)...
Read moreWe stayed for 10 days at this resort which on the whole was pretty good from several points of view. The room that we opted as a second one and moved in was a much better choice since the earlier suite room was stuffy, smelly, and noisy from the central air conditioner. The house keeping was good indeed keeping the linen, rooms and bath rooms neat and clean everyday. The common space like lobby and corridors were well kept. At the restaurant the service and food was average with a thin choice of menu. The staff was polite and very attentive, though professionally lacking competence for want of training.|The management staff at the front desk notably Lija Pramod runs the place with backup from Vishnu and the manager Mr Jithin. Inspite of an acute shortage of trained personnel the establishment nevertheless runs pretty smoothly thanks to them.|Finally I would like to add that the location of the resort is ideally situated between the beach front (shabby) and the serene backwaters behind. What spoils the setup is the location of the sheds across the lawn in front of the swimming pool. It was planned and executed by some one who had very little esthetic...
Read moreUnfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. It was outrageously expensive for what was offered. The rooms were tiny, making it difficult to even move around comfortably. The worst part was when the AC suddenly stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us sweltering in Kerala's high temperatures. We couldn't sleep at all. To add insult to injury, the buffet they charged 650 per head for was a complete joke. We ended up with just curd rice because they didn't bother refilling the empty dishes. Even simple requests, like extra rice, were met with unreasonable demands to purchase a whole portion. The pool was another disappointment – tiny and shallow, with no proper maintenance. It closed early in the evening, leaving us with no option for relaxation. In the morning, it was filthy with insects floating around due to the lack of a skimmer. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing and left a bitter taste in our mouths. Save your money and look elsewhere for...
