I recently dined at Lilliput restaurant and was extremely impressed with the overall experience.

Suggestion : Overhyped reviews are may be due to the foreigners who liked the ambience and don't know much about Kerala cuisine.So don't expect much based on an overall 4+ star rating received till date.

Detailed Service Experience : We ordered 7 items and received only 5 items..And for the remaining items we waited for long time and atlast came to realize the sad truth that the supplier forgot to give the order to kitchen. We again ordered the items to another supplier since each time different person was attending our table. The items were ordered for a veg person in our group and unfortunately that person has waited a long time.

Detailed Food Experience : The long waited veg kurma curry was tasty. "Chemmeen porichathu" (Prawns fry) was under-cooked with less quantity."Ammachi special Chicken curry"(Grandma's special chicken curry) was a normal average taste curry without any traditional taste and also with under-cooked chicken pieces.

Detailed Atmosphere Experience : Ambience was ok ..cool breeze...open side walls... but that may be the reason some live and dead flies were near around our table. Overall above average ambience.

Final verdict : food and restaurant is ok..it didn't make our stomachs upset. no stale food even though some under-cooked items were there. So please enjoy their food and service with average...
