The warmth and hospitality made me extend my stay to 3 days. The original plan was to stay for one day only.

I visited Ebis homestay in the month of July 2025. Jiten bhaiya and his family are an amazing host.

The best part of this homestay: it is neither too far, nor too close to Kurseong market. It gives you that peace and tranquility. At the same time you can visit market whenever you wish. from Kurseong market, shared taxis are available to reach this homestay. That is a rare thing in hilly regions. From market to homestay - the charge is Rs. 40 per person. From homestay to market (downhill), the charge is Rs. 10 person. Yes, it is ten rupees only. Jiten bhaiya took me for sight seeing in nearby areas. The view from these view points is breathtaking. You will cherish them forever. the homestay is located just next to the pine tree forest. You can go for a nature walk through the pavements in these forests. the food is awesome. Sipping the Darjeeling tea when the cloud enters your room, is an unforgettable experience. Loved the vibe of this place! If you’re someone who enjoys peace, calm, and a few days surrounded by nature, this is the perfect getaway. Just 2.5 km from Kurseong, it’s easy to reach yet feels wonderfully tucked away.

The food? Absolutely delicious! I had the best momos here, seriously unforgettable.
