Mountain Chalet homestay — Hotel in West Bengal

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Darjeeling!

Pros: The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The beds were great, and the blankets provided kept us warm during the chilly nights. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, which is always a big plus for me. We had a balcony with a breathtaking view of Darjeeling – it was such a treat to sit there and watch the toy train pass by below the homestay. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. They were always available to assist with anything we needed. I highly recommend opting for the breakfast option (charges applicable). The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth it! The homestay is housed in a new building, which added to the overall positive experience.

Cons: The location is a bit away from the main market and Darjeeling station. And you do need to climb quite a few stairs to reach the homestay, so it may not be ideal for those with mobility issues.

Overall, this homestay offers great value for the price and provides a cozy, comfortable experience with a fantastic view. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit...

No second thoughts...just going to come over and over again...from the view to the ambience to the food to the owner... everything was...
