Hotel Greens Gate — Hotel in Zone 5 Royapuram

I stayed here during 7th to 9th March 2020 Attaching Photo to prove my genuineness. Please read my review:

Pathetic staff behavior. They will answer one question if you ask 5 questions. The place is inside a gully (50 Meter inside from Main Road). Water coming in wash rooms are 'Salty'. If you don't trust me, then call Hotel on the number and aak about this. You will get your skin damaged and hair loss after bathing in Salt water. Even you cant clean your teeth or wash your mouth..the slat water taste will make you feel like vomiting. Complementary breakfast provided is for name sake. Menu was: Dosa, Alu Parata, Bread Butter/Jam, Idly. Let me be frank, I had bread and Jam, though I've tasted all.. Chutney and Sambar provided with Dosa was the worst ever I had in my life. I'm native from Kerala and I'm living in Mumbai..in munbai I use to have Vada, Dosa and all from Tamil Annan's stall even though I had options of pure Kerala restaurants. But in Chennai exactly opposite was happened with Dosa, Idly and regarding the taste and cleanness. The bathroom didn't had lock. When I complained, they where like: 'No other rooms are vacant to shift you. Kindly adjust'. Smelling bathrooms.. The towels where not clean. Bed sheet was also smelling and I used my own blanket which I carried along with.. *There was a slide kind of glass window. Since the sliding glass was not getting lock properly, there was Mosquitoes inside room. Again the response for my complaint was: 'Please adjust". Size of the room was pathetic and very tough for 2 personal to stay. Power cuts are very common thing.

Only one advantage: ** Near to Chennai Central...

The stay was extremely pathetic! pathetic is an underword! No staff were wearing masks. Not even the person who dropped luggage to room and the one who came to give breakfast The receptionist is very rude. they will not help you in case of anything. for example: the wifi wasn't working and the receptionist just said it's 'free wifi' so don't expect to get wifi. you're not paying for wifi A male receptionist asked me if he can come and stay in my room since he gave me his mobile hotspot for internet as wifi wasn't working If we have any trouble, the receptionist will ask you to come down ans resolve it yourself- in no way they come up and they talk very rudely! There is absolutely no maintenance - The lift is so dirty, there are cockroaches loitering around the room floors and corridor floors, the bathrooms are horrible (trust me the train bathrooms are much better), no hot water, tv remote no battery, dusty tables and linens, no plug point near table and chair, the TV socket is popping out of the wall making it risky for guests to even touch that area For safety reasons (In the interest of rising covid cases) they stopped keeping kettles and serving breakfast at hotel, but they themselves never wear mask. so what safety protocols are they following? I took my refund and left the hotel- the management is really screwed up and so are the workers there! please think twice before booking this place. You can get better hotels at same amount...

My stay at Hotel Greens Gate was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome. The check-in process was seamless, and they were happy to accommodate my early arrival.

One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The hotel's restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I particularly enjoyed the local cuisine, which was prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully.

The hotel's location was ideal, situated in a quiet area but still close to major attractions and transportation hubs. This made exploring the city convenient and enjoyable.

The staff's dedication to excellent service was evident throughout my stay. They were always available to offer assistance, whether it was providing directions, recommending local attractions, or arranging transportation.

Overall, my experience at Hotel Greens Gate was outstanding. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay with top-notch service. I look forward to returning on my next visit...
