Hotel Asri Cirebon — Hotel in Cirebon

In my opinion, this is a good hotel; perhaps I can explain the pros and cons below.

(+) starting with a strategic location close to everything because it is next to/above a convenience store and surrounded by many street vendors, so if you don't buy breakfast from the hotel, you can take away like nasi lengko, kuning or even gorengan from outside which is walking distance, yes, even from the PGC morning market.

Spacious room, very comfortable to stay. If you are a cat lover, you must be happy to stay in cuz the cats are cute, playful, and spoily (a big plus point for me).

The distance from swimming pool to the room not far cuz i stayed in the 4th floor. They also have gym around the pool area.

It tastes very good for a standard breakfast selection and has a lovely restaurant atmosphere. The staff is all incredibly polite and helpful (and quick).

(-) The primary drawback is that it is constantly in a crowded parking lot because it fits in with convenience store customers, but if it comes at night, it is empty and dark, so you must offer lighting in the basement.

The same is true for hotel halls, which must have sufficient lighting and should not be excessively dim.

I also discovered little ants on my bed. Because it's so scratchy, it may need to be maintained more frequently for comfort.

They have a small flat screen television, but the signal is poor. But I don't mind because I rarely watch television.

Room is vacant dirty when we check in. King size bed only available on 2 room on the entire hotel. The rest is twin single bed.|Hotel is located on the same location with the supermarket.|You will only get 1 key for the room, even if you ask for more. This is very unacceptable, looks like the hotel was not prepared to cater large group or when fully book.|The room was vacant dirty, meaning it was ready to accept guest, yet it will need final inspection and cleaning before its ready, since we found the dust on floor and table and it was quite unacceptable.||The key already mentioned above.|Swimming pool was for relaxing only, not for real swimmer. It was good for family because they have small pool as well for children.||Restaurant only open on breakfast, food range was from Indonesian food, salad, egg station, drinks, soups and bread. But as i already mention, the food was prepared for small goup of people, food keep replenishing as it is continually out of stock. Some food such as meatball only available for a few people only, breakfast start at 8, by 8:30 the meatball has gone.||Some bathroom were very smelly, wooden curtain cannot be used, bathroom shower were keep decreasing its shower power, handle problem detected.||Slipper only available single pair only.|If you find some other hotel around city, it should be better than this one.|This is a budget hotel with a budget service on an budget operational with no intention to go beyond the...

Cons (-) (-)The general vibes is like out of a horror movie. I feel uncomfortable walking through the corridors at night due to lack of lighting. (-) It gets really hot in the afternoon (-)there was nothing much to see or a place to chill at besides your room. (-)The room smells odd, kinda like old wood in a bad way, which probably it is. (-)Apparently there’s no restaurant for lunch or dinner (-) room 506 has no view despite being in the 5th floor, you could see employees drying clothes though

Pros (+) (+)Great spacious room wih very affordable price, comes with bath tub. (+)Nice little patio garden in breakfast place (+) responsive service (+) for the consumtive folks, there is a mall just below you.

Trivia: i found a holy bible in a drawer, thought that it’s mildly interesting. There was no name on it whatsoever wife got cat called by tukang becak outside the hotel when I wasnt around There is a famous seafood restaurant called H. Moel Seafood just around 300m outside, we ate there twice during our 2 days stay, it was so good. plenty of chirping birds at night that sounds like death
