One of the iconic Cirebon local food. The highlight is the fried chicken. Very well seasoned with the traditional javanese "bumbu kuning". The seasonings sips into the meat make it quite salty. They use a special chicken called "ayam kampung" which make more tender. However another star of the dish is also the fried tempe (fermented soybead), though it is fried the inside is still very soft. The thickness of the tempe also generous. Not to mention the friend onion and the chili paste is so good, it match with the overall taste of the dishes in my opinion. Whats even more suprising to me during my dine in, i ordered 2 pcs of chicken and 2 tempe, a drink and rice. It cost only 50k. So cheap. Definitely will come back again when i have opportunity to come here.

Unique fried chicken from Cirebon, always favorite when visiting Cirebon. Their fried chicken is salty yet savoury, you can choose any part of chicken. Bit pricey though, ranging 22-26thousand IDR/ piece. Also try their side dishes, from Tofu, Tempeh, Vegetable soup. Their signature sambal is unique with torchginger mix. Fried shallots is definitely to try. Big crispy pieces, yet not oily.

Nemu warung ayam bahagia krn ga sengaja lewat dan kyanya tmp nya menarik.. baca review bntr lgs cus lah coba. Harga ayam nya sama lah kya hrg jkt.. ayam dada 26rb/pcs paha 19rb/pcs. Unt bawang goreng dan lalap kena charge juga ternyata.. kl ga salah bawang goreng 2rb, lalap seribu. Tau nya pas abis byr liat di bill nya.. hehehe.. ayam bakar nya enak.. suami dan mama saya sukaaa.. ayam goreng nya juga ok sih.. kurang cocok sm soto ceker nya.. krn menurut sy kebanyakan lada.. tp liat situasi bnyk yg pesen menu itu sih.. mgkn emg taste gitu kali ya.. soto ceker 10rb/mangkok isian nya bnyk. Tempe/tahu @3rebu/pcs.. es teh manis 5rb. Aneka jus 16rb/gelas. Tmp nya bnyk pilihan.. kyanya warung sebelah2 nya juga bs makan disitu.. ada yg ac dan ga.. kmrn milih yg ga ac.. krn itu yg lokasi utama nya.. wlw harga seharga jkt tp kita sih puas makan disitu.. anak saya makan nya abis.. emak bahagia (sesuai nama resto nya hehe) sambel nya enak. Oh ya coba ice nong nong duren.. enak juga lhooo..

It's easy to understand why this place is highly rated. When you're tired of eating Nasi Jamblang/Empal Gentong, come here!. Burst of flavor when you bite into the chicken and the sambal they serve goes perfectly with it too. The place is pretty big with a special area where you can sit on the ground (lesehan-style)

Ayam goreng nya enak, gurih, tasty pokoknya, cuma agak asin aja, ga tau apa krn memang bumbu mereka atau memang lagi agak asin, biasa makan ayam dada, dan kebetulan dada di ayam grg bahagia ini tuh agak besar dibanding paha nya, it's like merema pake ayam jantan atau ayam kecil, jadi porsi 1 ayam dada itu pakai 2 dada, sedangkan paha nya tetap 1 paha, selain ayam goreng, kita juga pesen sayur asem, sayur asem nya bening dan seger. Ada tahu tempe juga, bumbu nya meresap jd ga cuma asin dibagian luar nya doang. Tips yg mau makan disini especially for you who want to eat di lesehan, be aware guys because there was a lost, someone's bag was stolen by thief, ya smoga ga akan ada yg kedua kali nya sih, just be aware aja. Terus di depannya itu ada ibu" yg jual es durian, dan itu enak bangettt you must try sih, es nya beda banget dr yg lain.

Ayam aja bahagia, moso kamu enggak .... 😅 Walaupun sering mampir Cirebon, tapi baru kali ini makan di Ayam Goreng Bahagia 71 ini, yang ternyata sudah ada sejak puluhan tahun lalu. Terletak di Jalan Bahagia, tempat makan ini mencolok sekali karena selain dominan warna kuning, juga menempati sekitar 4 kios di jalan ini. Ayamnya menggunakan jenis ayam kampung, kecil kecil, namun tidak alot. Rasanya gurih manis, seperti model ayam Kalasan. Mantep sih, makan dua potong rasanya masih kurang. Yang istimewa di sini adalah bawang gorengnya, yang bisa berwarna coklat muda cenderung putih, beda dengan bawang goreng biasa yg coklat gelap. Karena saya datang pas jam ramai makan siang, perlu waktu hampir setengah jam sampai pesanan saya sampai di meja. Maklum sih, ramai sekali.
