I stayed there between the 18th August 2016 till the 22nd and I would say that this hotel is relatively nice for a short visit. When I first arrived there it wasn't easy to find this hotel since you had to enter Mangga Dua Square first and then drive all the way to the other side of this complex in order to find this hotel. The check in went fluid and I got myself a deluxe room on the 3rd floor (Room number 319). It was a bigger room than the usual rooms there. I was happy with my room because it was equipped with a closet, minibar, fridge, locker and all the other things that you would find in a standard hotel room so I couldn't complain. I booked this hotel with breakfast as well that starts from 6am to 10am. I went to eat breakfast there at 6am once and there wasn't much going on at this time since it was very early. For breakfast it is ideal to come between 8-9 because then you have lots of going on there and the variety of foods, snacks and beverages also expands within time. Couldn't complain about the food there as it was really delicious, especially the noodles with rice that you could take from the buffet. As an outgoing person myself I also really liked the fact that you had a taxi stand right in front of the hotel so therefore I couldn't complain there either. When I was there, this hotel was overwhelmingly booked by Arabs and I was literally the only Caucasian person I've seen there. There must be a reason why this hotel is a hotspot destination for Arabs and I couldn't figure out why. One of the negative parts about this hotel is not really about the hotel itself, but rather its location. It is located right at the very last end of the Mangga Dua Square area right on the other side of WTC Mangga Dua and the area around the hotel is located in a dead quiet place where nothing is going on there during day with lots of building and apartment blocks that seems to be run down and closed off, giving that area a depressing feeling when walking around these buildings. In order to shine some light into the darkness it is really worth mentioning the very close proximity between the Mangga Dua Square Mall and the hotel, which is only a 5 minute walk where you have lots of shops and restaurants to keep you busy during day when you're not planning to go out somewhere. Since this hotel is located in northern Jakarta, it does take a little while to get into the city, especially when you plan to depart during rush hour where traffic is at its peak. In my conclusion, although this hotel is located in a relatively run down area in northern Jakarta, this hotel is a really comfortable place to spend your nights at with taxis waiting right at your doorstep when needed. As for me personally, it was worth a little experience but I would not really book this hotel again due to its unfortunate location, but still very...
Read moreStayed here 1 night for a training. I came to reseptionist at 17.00, they welcomed me and process my reservation. Took 10 minutes to process my booking and they asked 200.000 rupiah for deposit cash (which we can take it back on check out). They upgrade my reservation from standard room to executive room for free! I give 9/10 for receptionist job. Thank you so much!
Hotel lift button was somehow difficult to detect my fingertip, it took me 2-3times button pressing to react to my fingertips. Maybe not a big deal, but could be a problem for people in rush. There was strong musty smell on hallway on 3rd floor.
Hotel room was bigger and much better than I expected. Bed was big and comfortable, lighting was enough for daily activity. Air con was cold, and the room itself was comfortable even when I shut down air con. One big minus was internet connection. It was very difficult to detect Telkomsel on my room, but 3 was working fine. Wifi connection was unreliable, on and off, and undetected on partikular spots in room. You can also hear people talking and walking on hallway. I give 8,5/10 for room. Please fix the wifi connection, it was very annoying.
Bathroom was big, spacious, and water flow and heat was working fine. There were also bathroom amenities, but unfortunately they only provide '3 in 1' liquid soap - shampoo - conditioner in a single liquid dispenser at shower. There were 2 round handshoap, but I wish they provide separated liquid soap and shampoo. I give 8/10 for bathroom.
Breakfast was served at restaurant at ground floor. Restaurant decoration was great, dominated by dark colors, giving masculine ambience. Food was nice, specially fried fish (ikan kakap) was delicious. Fried noodle was too salty but still ok. Bread and fresh salad was delicious. I give 9/10 for breakfast. Good job! I wish they give more menu option in future.
I give score 8,5/10 for this hotel. Very recomended middle class hotel in Mangga dua square area, compared to cheaper options in the same area. Even though located on separated building in Mangga Dua Square complex, you can walk +/-10 minutes to reach the main shopping building. Keep...
Read moreWe stayed only half of the night. We came late. The location far from everywhere. The front desk unfriendly when you tell them about hotel issues. I trust hotel picture brochure. I planned to stay there a week so I checked in November 20,2015. I told the front desk that the hotel was not the one like they described and we were unhappy: We tried to leave but no Wifi so we stuck for half night we wait till morning to move to different hotel. The tiny room that what we got plus. The room was dirty and smell cigarette. The carpet floor in each floor un organized. My room had Dirty Sheet, the toilet bawl was yellow like someone was pee before we checked in. We only allowed to have 1 room key so when one of us leave the room had no power for me. The filthy towel with hole and stains. Zero wifi, AC doesn't work properly No manager on duty also the shower drain is clogged so we showered with water on our foot it was gross. The front desk said no manager to talk with. They don't allow us to meet in person or talk to mgr on the phone so we have to wait between Front desk and manager talk on the phone back and forth While I address the issues few people were complaining. They can see by their hotel camera there. This hotel community majority arabic/middle east i am not racist just saying.
