We were walking down the streets of this lovely city, Jakarta, all day and all night. In search of a remarkable landmarks, and we got hungry. We decided to go to Mangga Dua area to search good food, and found this poshy looking restaurant, named Serendah Masakan Padang. As we walked in, we were welcomed by the co-host (acting manager). It was empty when we first came in, and by looking at the food, we ordered immediately. Funny thing is, I am with a trans-friend eating in the restaurant, and the untrained staffs/maids (I do not know what they call it) were mocking my trans-friend. Mocking in a way that offended my trans-friend. So she (my trans-friend) called for the manager to tell him about this dispute, but ended up we never got an apologetic reason(s) from the staffs. We are told the staffs are new, but to us, no matter new or old, schooled or not schooled that is not the way how you treat your customers. Whatsoever, the manager and the cashier came up to us who thought we are from the people of Bali, but they apologised on behalf of the staffs after knowing we are the important people of Malaysia.
