Overall, our stay at Indigo was genuinely enjoyable and comfortable. The location is highly strategic, the lobby welcoming, and the room spacious. What you see online (on YouTube and elsewhere) is truly what you get, which is always reassuring. That said, I’d like to highlight just a couple of areas where there’s room for improvement.
In terms of in-room amenities, everything was excellent on the first day. Neatly prepared and complete. However, on Day 2, the hand towel was missing, only to reappear again on Day 3. A small detail, but consistency does matter, especially in a hotel of this standard.
The breakfast experience, while overall pleasant, had a slightly confusing flow at first. On our first morning, there was a waiting list and a 15 minute delay. On the second day, the hotel implemented a clustering system, which was a good attempt to streamline the process but unfortunately, it still caused confusion. Our group had 4 rooms and 10 guests, yet we were only given one table with 4 chairs (perhaps a misinterpretation that 4 rooms meant 4 people?) That said, I must sincerely commend the staff member at the waiting list desk (I remember her name was Vici). Despite the pressure and my firm feedback, she handled the situation with admirable patience, professionalism, and grace. That kind of service truly makes a difference and should be appreciated. Thankfully, by the third day, everything ran perfectly, no waiting list, and the breakfast experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Aside from these two aspects, everything else was excellent. The room was cozy and cool, with a sofa that was impressively spacious. Possibly the largest compared to nearby competitors. The welcome drinks and snacks were a thoughtful touch. Breakfast options were diverse and among the best we’ve had in Bandung. Every staff member we encountered was warm, courteous, and helpful. The hotel’s overall facilities were well-suited for a family trip, making our stay feel comfortable and cared for.
In conclusion, Indigo delivers a wonderful stay experience. With just a few small improvements, it could truly be flawless. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others, and we would certainly return on our next...
