Sierra Café & Lounge — Restaurant in West Java

This is the first time I visited this place. I was with my friend who was a local. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service was superb but the coffee was not hot enough. When we complained the waitress replied that she needed to check it first and after she returned to the table she then asked if we would like to heat it up or get a new one. I think the questions should not be asked in the first place because this will leave a bad impression for their customer and it was not a common practice in hospitality. Sierra Cafe should be straight away serving a new cup of coffee to their customer and apologized for the almost cold coffee they were given to their customer. Sierra Cafe really needs to look into this...

ulit bagi saya untuk tidak skeptis dengan restoran-restoran yang berada di daerah Bukit Dago karena seringkali stereotipe yang beredar memang benar adanya kalau restoran-restoran di Bukit Dago memang cuma jual tempat dan view, urusan kualitas F&B seringkali dikesampingkan. Biasanya saya baru mau mengunjungi restoran di daerah ini kalau ada permintaan menemani teman dari luar kota yang ingin menikmati view dari Bukit Dago, urusan view memang juara. Tempatnya juga lumayan nyaman, terutama di area teras outdoornya, saya paling suka sensasi angin sepoi-sepoi dan ambience citylightnya. Kebersihan adalah hal yang menurut saya perlu diacungi jempol dari restoran ini, terutama kebersihan toiletnya. Menurut saya service masih sangat memerlukan improvement terutama dalam responsiveness dan product knowledge pelayannya

Chicken Steak (65.5K) Sejujurnya saya mempertanyakan kenapa menu ini dinamai steak padahal look dan tastenya sama sekali tidak sepertinya steak pada umumnya. Pada menu dijelaskan bahwa daging steaknya dimasak dengan metode pan-seared, dengan menggunakan wajan, sedikit minyak, dan api kecil. Kenyataannya, daging ayamnya lebih mirip diproses dengan metode deep-fry, bahkan menurut saya lebih cocok disebut chicken katsu ketimbang chicken steak. Ayamnya juga agak terlalu kering dan tasteless. Steaknya disajikan dengan saus blackpaper yang sayangnya tidak terlalu membantu menyelamatkan rasa. Sayur tumis yang diharapkan bisa menjadi penyegar pun mengecewakan. Untungnya, potato wedgesnya lumayan enak. Caramel Latte (29.5K) Caramel Lattenya tidak kalah mengecewakan. This is the first place I visit as soon as I come to Bandung as I've always received good quality food/drinks and excellent service with the added bonus of reasonable prices. What makes this place special compared to the other cafés/restaurants dotted around the hills of Bandung is the complete experience from the ambiance, atmosphere, to the fantastic service and beautiful scenery. As a bonus, if you come during the night it is quite romantic due to the candles on the tables, slow music and cityscape views. Definitely recommended to go to...
