Mercusuar Cafe & Resto is a hidden gem in Bandung, offering not only great food but also an incredible ambiance with breathtaking views. Here are some reasons why this place deserves a visit: Stunning Views: Situated on a hill, Mercusuar Cafe & Resto provides panoramic views of Bandung and the surrounding mountains. The lighthouse-themed architecture adds a unique charm to the place, making it perfect for photos. It’s a great spot to enjoy both the cityscape and the lush greenery of the area.
Delicious Food and Drinks: The menu offers a variety of Western and Indonesian dishes, and everything I tried was delicious. I highly recommend the pizza and grilled chicken. Their coffee and signature drinks are also a perfect match for the cool Bandung weather.
Unique Ambiance: The cafe’s lighthouse design and rustic decor create a cozy yet whimsical feel. There are multiple floors with indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose your favorite spot to relax. It’s especially magical in the evening with the lights and views.
Friendly Service: The staff is very attentive and friendly. They make sure you have a pleasant experience and are quick to help if you need anything.
Good for Groups and Families: With spacious seating areas and a unique atmosphere, this place is ideal for gatherings, family outings, or even romantic dinners.
Overall, Mercusuar Cafe & Resto is a must-visit when in Bandung, whether you’re a local or a tourist. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, enjoy good food, and soak in the beautiful views. Highly recommended!

Read moreThe view is nice and kids friendly place. But the waitress are horrible. We wait for 20 minutes and no waitress coming. We try to talk to the cashier but keep no waitress coming to serve us, so we just go home since my toodler already so hungry and nobody serve us, we decide to just order online food later at home. It seems the waitress are so busy with other customers. Avoid this place if you are in a hurry. To enter this place you will pay for car park of IDR10k. The mushola/mosque is far away from main attractions, so you need to walk down to the steep road to parking area, especially if you bring kids so avoid coming to this place on prayer time if you are in a hurry. The security said there are electrical car to bring you to the parking area but I cannot see any of them when I am visiying, may be you need to wait. To enter the main attraction, you should ay for IDR20k ticket per person, at least this is a weekday price, fortunately you can change the ticket receipt with bread products, even though the bread is still over price, but it is good rather then without that. I visited this place about a month ago on weekdays, staying for an hour and half only since I am in a hurry for a meeting. If you plan to visit this place, prepare at least 3-4 hours to really enjoy the scenary and waiting patiently for the "amazing" waitress coming to you. Really for the owner of this place, please honestly, to improve the service quality, please take my...
Read moreWorst experience as a customer : First, you need to buy a voucher worth of 20K in the bakery. Just after buying it, we discovered we can only use it in the bakery and not in the cafe as we wanted to. Why not, the bakery seems nice. Just after buying food from the store, we discovered we can’t eat it upstairs with a coffee ! The staff isn’t helping by repeating over and over “don’t bring food upstairs” even though we just bought it in their shop.
Original review : If possible, I would have rated this place 0 out of 5, it’s the worst experience I’ve had in Indonesia : You need to buy a voucher (20-25k) to get in. The voucher is only valid in the bakery, not to take a coffee, the cashier informed us after we bought them that it was not for a coffee. So we go the bakery, use the vouchers we just bought and then go to the cafe upstairs but we have been stopped because impossible to bring food upstairs !!! They were 3 to insist that we don’t bring food (the same we bought in the bakery) upstairs and they keep our food while we visited the place. In addition to the voucher and everything, the cafe was overpriced, the prices are already high and you need to add another 15% !! We went to the Komi Bawah Pohon cafe instead, no bad surprise there. Don’t stop there, it’s...
