Puri Bernadi Guest House — Hotel in Java

Stayed here for a night on August 15th-16th, 2015. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the backyard, they have a vast seating area there and if I'm not mistaken, they even have a barbecue grill (for special occasions, I suppose) and the view from it was very, very beautiful. ||||I stayed in a Standard Room and it was what it was - standard. Clean enough tho. They had zig-zag, swings, and few other simple children plays on the front yard, and they had a pool table, table-tennis, and few other games in the play room inside. Interesting enough. ||||I booked a room via Agoda and then confirmed the booking via telephone prior to our arrival and we checked in just fine. Maybe it's best to confirmed via phone prior to arrival if you booked a room online, to make sure the booking was confirmed and noted.||||It's a simple guest house, nothing really fancy, but if you're looking for a simple satisfying and comfort stay, I can recommend this...

If I could give 0 (zero) star, I would like to do it. It's very disappointing guest hotel.

We booked Executive Suite. What we saw was towels, sofa, bedsheet and pillow sheet were all dirty. Even the curtain was dirty. And the bathtub didn't have stopper in it.

We changed to more expensive room, Presidential Suite. There was no better.

Everything in this guest house were broken, dirty, and useless, even the bilyard table.

Less than five minutes, we spent time on the Presidential Suite, we wanted to move to another hotel. And we are looking for another hotel now.

If anybody sees good rating in booking dot com, I don't see how the guests give high rating for that kind of hotel.

Plus, you need to walk 100 meters at dark street to reach road way.

It's the most disappointing accomodation (the price is so much expensive considering what we find in this guest house) I've ever been in my life.

We stayed for 2 nights for relaxing after 4 days of shopping in Bandung . There was a nice big courtyard out front with swings and patio to sit on. The room was clean enough for a budget hotel but it has a million dollar view out back with beautiful greenery and a view of mount tangkuban perahu in the distance. You can see the early morning mist coming down the mountain . Very beautiful and calming and we used to spend a lot of time in the back garden for chit chat. There was no breakfast though and even though there is a small cafeteria, no food was served ( cook was on holiday). Over all , it was a good...
