Balibu Rumah Makan Khas Sunda — Restaurant in West Java

The place is huge, well lit, open space, comfy with nice bamboo wall and ceiling decors. The staffs are all friendly and accommodating, they wear face shield, gloves and masks. They serve free bottomless hot tea. Our food took some time to be cooked but they are all very delicious. We ordered sop bontut, sop iga, tongseng, nasih goreng and veggies. They serve generous amount of soft meat and fresh veggies at reasonable prices. We had them for take out but they still were hot after about an hour. Food were delicious! Gurame fish was crispy and crunchy. Sauted genjer was spicy and fresh. Jurig tofu was loaded with chilli and umami flavour. The seuhah penyet chicken was the real deal, with very spicy and fresh sambal consists of chilli, tomato, and basil leaves, this dish can really cause me to "seuhah". My favorite! Beverages were amazing too. Better try their milk bandrek and ruksak juice. The place was also clean and comfy, mushola and toilets are available. Would definitely come back here if i visit...

The service was satisfying, polite, and responsive. The food taste was quite good, and considering the prices, it falls into the comfort food category. Ambience, it's considered okay level. Perhaps it would be better with some background music – not necessarily flute or Sundanese music, but something that creates a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

The prices are okay for this type of restaurant. Good work, Balibu!
