The staff partied loudly in front of room 6 beyond midnight. Drinking and behaving inappropriately. They were very rude when politely asked to be quiet so our group of 9 in 4 rooms could rest. We needed to leave by 7am for work but they refused early breakfas demanding earliest breakfadt was 7:30am. Staff in reception were not welcoming and did not assist guests on arrival. When I went to reception at 7am there was still no staff. Finding 3 staff in the kitchen, 1 male who was involved in the loud late night partying were less thsn helpful and considerably rude.||The kitchen is dirty abd I personally witnessed dishes, pits and pans and cutlery just being run under a cold tap and wiped on a filthy tea towel. Needless to say I won't be eating the breakfast included in the room price.||The room was basic but spacious. No garbage bins, no drinking water, no fridge, towels old, dirty and stained, less than adequate toileteries of a mini soap and a tiny sachet of shampoo. The rooms smelt if sewerage. The beds were so hard and the bedding was very old and worn. The pool was dirty and cloudy with the beach much cleaner.||When I tried to contact the manager the phone number said you have dialled an incorrect number. I will keep trying.||On the plus side it's a fantastic spot on the beach.||We need to come to Amed for an overnight stay every Monday night and need rooms for 9 people. We will definitely not return to Pakel's Bali Villas and they have lost our...
Read moreI traveled the all Indonesia for a month and this was by far the worst place. I stayed in room 1, there was plenty ants for which I was giving spray. Then the staff hangs around your room, talks loud and has their phones always playing something on loud speaker. First night I didn't sleep until 1am as security felt like watching a late movie :(. I then asked to be moved and this was not possible. Extremely stained linen and towels, no service in the rooms, even toilet paper you have to go and ask like a camping site. Adding to this I got a very bad Bali Belly, I had to extend my stay as I was not in a condition of travelling. The day this happened the toilet started leaking with stool coming from the sides. To which I was told they would fix it next day. I totally had to lose it. They then tried to fix it, it did got better but still not fixed. Next day I saw rooms getting vacant and only then they let me move to somewhere in better condition. This room was in perfect condition. The only positive minute I had in this place was when the owner was trying to fix the toilet and saw me he offered to take me to...
Read moreWe stayed there for 3 nights in a standard room. The room is quite old, the towels and furniture is outdated. The area is very nice and quiet. The beach is also calm and clean, but if you are sensitive bring your water shoes, because it’s quite rocky and the black sand is very hot. We enjoyed snorkeling and watching fishes and octopus/sea snake/shrimps. The location of the property is very good, because you have everything in a walking distance: groceries stores, motorbike rental, some bars and warungs. The motorbike is recommended, but they are not insured. The restaurant at the property is not very developed, the food is fine, but they do not have freshly squished juices. The included breakfast is limited, you have to choose from set breakfast (continental, American, Indonesian), which are quite small. Staff is friendly...
