We stumbled across the warung (restaurant) while walking along the beach in Amed. It is right on the sand with a rustic and authentic feel.

We choose our own fish from the day's fresh catch - we selected two beautiful Black Snapper. They were grilled to absolute perfection. The service was as outstanding as the food. The staff made us feel welcome.

i’m ordering grilled fish with ginger tea. i thought grilled fish rice and hot drink ginger tea. but actually the ginger tea is the vegetable at the plate. but grilled with mix with ginger vegetables the taste is wonderful! the grilled fish is fresh and rice just nice not that hard.

i’m order tomato soup with onions, anywhere just normal tomato and onions not so strong, i like strong onions, but overall is good and meet the price i’m pay.

As local as it can get. This place has delicious food, good prices, and good service. My wife and I ate here almost every day for the 2 months we spent in Amed. Some days were better than others, but overall, the food is delicious. The fish is fresh, the curry is delicious, and ayam pelala is a must try. Portions are generous, but it's nothing fancy. If you're looking for a place for Instagram pictures, fancy food, music and the whole thing, this is not it.
