Hotel Sriti — Hotel in Kota Magelang

Sriti Hotel Magelang is one of the best hotel in our experience even though it is only a 3 stars hotel but their exceptional service, sincerity, politeness, consistency and trustworthy just blew our minds away. It is our second time staying at Sriti. And every single stay has always left us with a good memory and experience. Their consistency in their services and hospitality has made us always choose the hotel every time we visit Magelang.

The hotel itself is really simple in its design yet its cleanliness and the extraordinary staff members makes us feel like we are at home because we just felt so comfortable, happy and stress free.

They will go extra miles just to make sure the guests are comfortable and happy. We have been staying at so many different hotels (from 5 stars to 3 stars in and outside Indonesia) and Sriti hotel Magelang is the second best hotel in our opinion.

One simple example of how amazing the staff members at Sriti is they always lend us plates and cutlery to use even though we don’t buy foods from the hotel. At the front of the hotel there is a satay’s stall. We always buying satay every evening and we asked the hotel if we can borrow plates and cutlery as the satay only wraps in a banana leaves. Not just lending us plates and cutlery, the waiters at their restaurant always say ‘Sir I can bring the satay up to your room’. And we think wow this is extraordinary, we don’t give a business to them yet they still want to serve us with sincerity.

There are so many other things that they’ve done that we can’t mention here because this review will be way too long🤣 But, man…if you happen to be in Magelang or nearby, please do yourself a favour, just stay at Sriti hotel Magelang and we can guarantee that you will not disappointed.

Their price is cheap, the property itself is clean and well maintained. Their location is so strategic that you can just walk and find so many food vendors around and there is a laundromat nearby (but bear in mind the laundromat is expensive). There is also well known hair salon (Lina Gunawan) within walking distance, es Eny, Tukangan market. What else you could ask for😁 Keep up the good work Sriti hotel Magelang. We will definitely come back every time we visit...

We had an excellent and very pleasant stay at the Sriti Hotel. Each time we visited central Java, we have stayed here. The previous time was in 2013! The hotel is centrally located in this part of Java, which gives us convenient access to regional places of interest including Jogjakarta, Borobudur, Solo and Semarang all within 2 hrs drive. There are many attractions within the area. What also makes Sriti stand out is their excellent level of service. As a smaller hotel, you get to know the staff, and in turn you get a more personalized level of attention. The people know you by name. The front desk is very responsive to requests and most of the staff speak English. The interior courtyard and pool area has several quiet shaded areas with tables that I have used to relax, enjoy a meal or get some work done using their very fast WiFi. Likewise the interior rooms are nicely isolated from the noise and bustle of the city. Just a few doors down the road there is a good Chinese-Indonesian restaurant (Pancoran) and a bit further in the other direction is a very good cafe (Tomoro). Crossing the busy road to the cafe can be a bit daunting but fortunately there is a crossing guard that helped us. Overall, Sriti provides a peaceful oasis in an otherwise growing and busy city. No doubt we will return to stay at Sriti. Hopefully the next time will be sooner...

I think one of the tastiest breakfast I had ever for 3-stars hotels. I eat sop senerek, nasi goreng, mie goreng, pepes tongkol, ayam bakar (smoky good), tumis pare and all taste very good, the best. Nasi goreng & senerek so goood. The infuse water, it's really infused, you can taste the lemon, cucumber not just plain water. Oh, and also the orange juice, it's literally pressed orange juice, not just syrup-y or the one you can find on supermarket. They also serve, bubur ayam, traditional snack, bread, jamu, fruits. I would love to come back here for the food.

I hope the management care the cook's team very well, and also for other team because their hospitality also one of a kind, keep up the good work team.

Oh don't worry about safety, parking area, hospitality, location (it's literally in the middle of the city), rooms, all good, you can find so many reviews about those categories. I think their standard, hospitality-foods-cleanliness-everything, way higher than most of (or all?) 3-stars...
