Omink House — Hotel in Kuta

Omink House is located in the backstreets of seminyak. This sounds very odd, but in actual fact, there is a lot of accommodation situated in these back streets. From 5 star to 1 star. Do not be put off by its location. However, omink house has a rather strange setup, it's located on the second floor with no office and no staff onsite throughout the day. We only found and was able to check in after my girlfriend walked to the nearest laundry room below and they found the manager of the hotel. ||The warm bathroom water which I complained about due to the smell of rotten egg which came out received a laughing response and no resolution. Therefore we only had cold showers as this water did not smell (bizarre). The toilet seat was broken and not attached to the toilet. Again received a laughing response. ||But the room was big, spacious. Good quality tv stations, air conditioning worked very well too and the location to bars and restaurants cannot be faulted. Terrible, we had booked to stay 2 weeks at Omink House but ended up only staying for 2 nights. The room is not as it states on the description, the aircon was broken.. which meant we couldn’t sleep because of the heat and would dread going back to the room after a day in the sun. The WiFi was also horrendous, it would cut off every minute. After complaining to the hotel and cancelling our remaining nights in the hotel. They charged us a 50% of the 2 weeks stay on top of the nights we had stayed, for leaving early. After refusing to pay this’s fee they wouldn’t hand back our passport until we did. The room is nice and spacious. Good big bed. No blanket only a sheet. Nice minifridge to store your own drinks and stuff.||Bathroom floor is always wet even when the shower has not been used. Possibly a leak somewhere. Toiletpaper only a little bit provided. Promised toiletries not there (they filled them on the last day)||Good tv channels.||However no staff onsite. We were lucky that the cleaner just finished when we arrived and he could show us our room.|||The location is thru narrow and dark streets.
