One of the household names for Makassar style Chinese food that has been open for many years. We tried their three famous dishes - fried meatballs, fried rice with the signature red sauce and crispy fried noodles in special sauce. Highly recommend all three of them although they are big in portion! Especially when it is paired with their chilli sauce with a hint of sour/tanginess that keeps it fresh. Your typical Makassarese chinese resto where you can find various comfort chinese food. You do not count your food calory if you're planning to eat here. Huge portion, savoury and fragrant taste. Speedy service. My to-go-to menu item would be the crispy friend chicken wings with its spicy sweet soy sauce. The later it gets in the evening, the more crowded the place becomes. One of the best family diner experience I had in Makassar. The food is not that expensive if you eat with other people, ordering the biggest menu they have.

The food in this restaurant has the delicious kick compared to what I usually have (ordering the same menu) in Jakarta. Definitely a must try when you visit Makassar.

I would recommend what I had here (all with the sweet red pork) and also the pork meatballs they had. The pork meatballs are really crunchy on the outside while being soft and warm on the inside....
