I was searching for cheap but clean, comfortable and near Universitas Gadjah Mada for my visit to Jogja and then my friend informed me about Retras. ||||I've stayed in Retras for two days and I chose the dormitory room. Because of long weekend I thought it's gonna be full house, but I got lucky and I got the entire room for myself. ||||The room was large enough for 4 persons, it clean, the aircon works perfectly and with ensuite large bathroom that also clean and has hot/cold shower.||||The other facilities are minimalist tho' there was no desk or tv, just small locker with keys. For bathroom necessities they provide tissue, towel, soap, and shampoo but no toothbrush or toothpaste.||||They also didn't provide breakfast or mineral water, but they have shared kitchen and refrigerator. They also only have wifi in common room, it actually reached my room, but the connection was weak. ||||Location wise, it's quite far from the main street with shops and food, about 15 minutes walking. But, If you are familiar with Jogja, you can rent a scooter for IDR 70K/ 24 hours. ||||The unique part of the hostel is it is pet-friendly, I spent my time playing with their lazy cat which is very vocal (meowing when you touch her) but very friendly and didn't mind to be carried. Although IDK if we can stay in the room if we bring our on pets or not. ||||For IDR 95K/night on the dormitory room, i think this hostel is quite a stealer, and i consider to stay again in Retra's when I...
