I booked this place while I was in denpasar in the hopes of staying somewhere nice for a couple nights while I explored Nusa Penida but unfortunately I had to cut my trip to bali short and wouldn’t be able to make it to the accommodation. This was around a week and a half before I actually booked to stay at this place. I requested a waive of the fee due to only booking one room for one person and it was so far in advance. I never expected to get my money back as it’s within their policy when you book it that there is no free cancellation. However I still have the right to request it and at least expect a response. After the supposed 48 hour time limit the accommodation has to respond to the waive of the fee request I had heard nothing. So after 72 hours I called the accom and was put through to someone who said that he would speak to his manager and call me back the next day in regards to my query of cancelling and getting my money back.
Unfortunately I heard nothing back after 24 hours so I called back again and was told to message them on WhatsApp. I didn’t hear anything back from the message until a couple hours later where I got the managers contact info and was told to message the manager and so I did.
It took the manager a few hours to reply but regardless he did and I had to explain my query yet again. He said he would check my booking first and then I presumed he’d get back to me. However after waiting more than 48 hours again and sending quite a few messages requesting an update he read my messages and blatantly ignored them.
Now as I said prior I never expected to get my money back however to flat out ignore my request is just rude and disrespectful. At least have the audacity to reply and state that they won’t give me my money back because then I could cancel it properly and move on rather than waiting around for quite a simple task to be done.
Anyway rant over but all I’d say is that if the service I received here is anything like they offer at the accommodation then you are going to be in for a rough time. I can’t comment on the villa or spa or the resort itself as I didn’t go but the service to me in this specific regard was terrible and quite frankly...
Read moreWe stayed for two nights.
Despite the word “spa” in the hotel’s name, this is not a spa, nor does it offer any spa services.
The rooms were nice and clean, but the pool area was dirty. There was also a loud construction site right next to the hotel. On top of that, there was a strong fertilizer smell by the pool.
The air conditioning didn’t work—our room was over 30°C, and the AC unit made a terrible noise. Our friends in the neighboring room had the same issue.
We asked the staff if breakfast was included, and they confirmed that it was. Since we had a tour starting at 9 AM, we ordered breakfast to our room for 8 AM. The night before, we even double-checked to make sure it would arrive. By 8:10 AM, nothing had come, so we went to the reception to ask about it. They told us they had forgotten to ask what we wanted for breakfast, so they simply didn’t bring it. They also informed us that breakfast actually costs 60,000 IDR per room. We ordered it anyway at that price, and when it finally arrived, the coffee cups were dirty. What a disaster.
Later that evening, we ordered drinks, which never arrived. After 30 minutes, we went to ask about them—once again, they had forgotten. Unbelievable.
At check-out, they charged us 100,000 IDR for breakfast instead of the agreed 60,000.
Terrible service. Just awful. I cannot...
Read moreWe booked a stay in hotel which was suppose to have spa (we wanted full indonesia experience)and restaurant. When arrived we were informed that restaurant and spa are being built/renovated and doesn’t work. Weird to have „spa” in the name and not provide any spa services. We were offered a massage by the pool- on very uncomfortable beds by exterior masseur. Another thing- wifi is not working- there are plenty of wifi networks- none of them works(when asked staff they replied: use another one- same password). When You decide to book a stay there despite thing mentioned above, remember to keep your room cool- the AC must work the whole stay. We turned it off for 2h once and immediately cockroaches appeared in our room. When you chose to stay in bungalow be also aware of major construction right behind the dance and noise during the day. When coming back in the afternoon to hotel after a day of sightseeing, we felt more like on summer camp when we were 7 than on romantic trip. The bungalow may have been fresh when our parents were 7, not us. The sliding door to the toilet were stuck and not moving- leaving us with 30cm gap for the whole time.
Don’t recommend. At least not for this prize. P.S. I attach a photo of...
