Worst experience with a hotel manager who doesn’t know how to treat people with respect. By mistake of taxi driver we were taken to Kelingsking hotel instead to kelingsking hostel where we had our booking, the moment we did our check-in we showed our booking made by booking app and the receptionist saw this, wrote our names didn’t even ask for passport or any document and took us (me and my friend) to our dorms, couple of hours later an aggressive man knocked at my room saying he was the manager at the hotel and asking why I went to his hotel and stayed in his room when I was not supposed to, I tried to be polite explaining to him the situation so then it was a mistake by both and we never refused to leave the room, but the way he talked at me was in the most disrespectful way possible, insulting me in his language, yelling, saying every time I should get out of his property as if I did it on purpose, he really is by far a very aggressive man who don’t know how to control his emotions and how to run a business since he should have put a responsible person in charge of check-in. When I went to the room to take my luggage and pack he was outside my door saying get out, this is the moment when I felt unsure, he did the same with my friend in the other room, at this point we didn’t know if something was going to happen to us. Just need to emphasise that he was talking yelling at me all the time in a very rude way, friends of him were around laughing about what I was saying. He treated me with no respect at all, I had to ask him to say at least a please can you take your luggage? I also tried to be polite all the time with my arguments not being disrespectful but managers like him should not be in front of a business if don’t know how to treat people when a mistake happens. First time of me and my friend visiting Indonesia and had this horrible experience, we will be careful next time at checking two or three times places we book, we know it was also our mistake we realised this confusion about names at the end, it was a beautiful hotel but with very rude bad people in...
Read moreI recently had the displeasure of staying at the Kelingking Sunset Point Hotel & Spa, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, there were numerous issues that left me thoroughly disappointed.
First and foremost, one of the most frustrating incidents occurred during the check-out process. Despite the designated check-out time being 12:00 PM, the hotel staff abruptly threw out my belongings from the room at 11:00 AM. This happened even though I wasn't present in the room at that time. It was not only an invasion of my privacy but also a blatant disregard for the agreed-upon check-out time. Such an unprofessional and disrespectful act is simply unacceptable.
Another major drawback of the Kelingking Sunset Point Hotel & Spa is its remote location. If you're looking for a convenient place to stay, this is definitely not it. The hotel is situated far away from any major attractions or amenities, making it extremely inconvenient to explore the surrounding area. The lack of nearby facilities significantly detracted from the overall experience and made it difficult to access basic necessities or enjoy local attractions.
Furthermore, the quality of the food provided at the hotel was severely lacking. The limited menu options were uninspiring, and the taste left much to be desired. It is disheartening to find that a hotel that claims to offer a spa experience fails to provide guests with a satisfying culinary journey. The lack of culinary expertise and variety further added to my disappointment during my stay.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Kelingking Sunset Point Hotel & Spa based on my personal experience. The hotel staff's disrespectful behavior during check-out, the remote location, and the subpar food all contributed to an overall negative stay. I suggest looking for alternative accommodations that prioritize customer service, convenience, and culinary excellence for a more enjoyable and...
Read moreThe location is impeccable, just 2 minute walk from the view point of Kelingking beach. However, do not make the mistake of staying here even if it is for free. We met so many wonderful people all around Bali, Nusa Penida and Gili islands, who were hospitable and warm. However the staff at Kelingking Sunset Point is outright rude, unprofessional and intimidating. I would like to cite some instances of what we had to face: We had booked a Deluxe Double Room which was prepaid, yet they gave us an inferior room at first. When we showed them our booking, they said that room is no longer available. When we persisted on our request, they grumpily took us to the first floor and gave us the correct room after continuously muttering and making faces at us. The room door was broken and had tissues stuffed in to keep the gap closed. The shower was broken and was just leaking water. The balcony door was also broken. We requested them to arrange for 2 two wheelers for the next day. They quoted a premium price, yet we agreed as we had no other option available nearby. They agreed to keep them available at 8am the next morning. When we got ready and got down to make a move, they simply said they did not have any two wheelers available with zero remorse. They said they had a broken scooter and if we were too keen, we could take that one for the same price. They would not be responsible if it broke down at any point. Thankfully we got 2 good two wheelers from an adjacent shop otherwise they were sure to ruin our entire day as there was no other mode of transport available there. When we were checking out the next day, we requested them to drop our luggage till the gate but they simply said that we could ask our driver to do the needful and they would not assist us in any way. Nusa Penida is a beautiful island, please don't make the same mistake as us by booking Kelingking Sunset Point as your place of stay if you don't want your trip to be soured by the staff's cold and...
