Guava Eco Living — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I was looking for a cozy accommodation to stay after trekking Jatiluwih, and Guava turned out to be the perfect place.

The cabins are new, currently they have 3 but are about to open another 2 in the upcoming months. The mattress and sheets are amazing. We got Room N1🦉 and it had the best view.

We had breakfast included and you can choose between Indonesian or Eggs or Pancake. It comes with fruits and a fresh fruit juice, so it was quite rich. There was no coffee offered which I think should be corrected and at least Bali coffee should be included in the brekkie. But there is a kettle in the room.

It’s 1 min drive up on a hill from the main road, it’s totally fine by scooter.

The staff was very polite and made sure we had everything we needed :)

Extremely beautiful!! Surrounded by ricefields and jungle, the Huts are made with love and style (I like the smell of wood!). Every Hut looks slightly in a different direction so that there is more a feeling of privacy than in other accomodations. It's more or less quiet with a little bit street noise from the distance and the sound of crickets. There are very nice waterfalls with ponds for swimming nearby (one at the padi bali resto on the other side of the street). There is hot water and wifi (the quality depends on the hut you are in). Superbe endroit avec une vue magnifique sur les rizières et la nature depuis la chambre. La chambre est magnifique, très propre avec un superbe grand balcon. Le lit est super confortable, bouilloire avec thé / cafés et eau à disposition, shampoing/gel douche aussi.

Le seul bémol est le bruit car la route passe juste derrière et ce n’est pas bien isolé, comme la route est en monté on entent beaucoup le bruit des scooters et voitures , pensez à des boul quies si vous en avez ;) un gros gecko à élu domicile dans la cabane donc il est assez dérangeant la nuit 🫣

L’eau chaude aussi a été un problème car il n’y a que 10L dans le chauffe-eau, donc même pour une personne s’est très juste..

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment complet avec différents choix.

On a passé deux belles nuits ici, le jardin est splendide et très bien entretenu, mis à part ces petits détails qui sont complètement surmontable.

Le personnel a été très sympathique avec nous.

Petit info sup qu’on ne savait pas avant : il faut payer l’entrée de 75k / personne même pour loger car cela fait partie de la zone patrimoine de l’Unesco. C’est valable pour tous les jours après vous n’avez pas à repayer.

Une superbe cascade à 10k l’entrée est juste a coté à pied, sans de foule...
