CataVaca Jatiluwih — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Know this place from IG, it was mentioned the "new viral spot in Jatiluwih".

When you enter the gate of Jatiluwih post guard, they will charge you 30k per vehicle if you want to go to CataVaca. When we arrived, we were greeted by a warm welcome from the security guard that guarded the restaurant entrance.

The Restaurang over a majestic scenery of Jatiluwih teras rice field, to bad the weather was raining when we came there during afternoon. There are several areas for dining, but we choose to dine in at the Bale Tiying. Since this was our first visit, we were confused about how the restaurant works. Since no one was great us and we need to find ourselves a table and a menu.

On the menu, they offered a mixed international menu. They have nasi goreng, bebek goreng, burger, pizza and many more. We tried to order their pizza, but it was sold out. The staff said that it was bussy during lunchtime, so we didn't get the chance to try, and we ended up ordering their Nasi Goreng Special, chicken snitzel, kids fried rice.

We waited for our food for about 40mnt. Frankly, it was stressful to wait that long , and there were several guest who got upset cause they waited too long for their food. Maybe if the weather was not raining, we were thinking of canceling our order as well.

And after a very long wait, our food came, and to keep it short. Nasi Goreng Special was tastesless, the sate lilit was cold. All I taste on the fried rice was masako/royko, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. It thinks a lot of missing ingredients on the Nasi Goreng. Chicken snitzel was nice, fresh, hot, and the chicken was still moist, but it has no taste at all. Maybe to put a bit of a basic ingredient like salt and pepper or perhaps to provide salt and pepper on the table would be nice. Kids nasi goreng, it's the same as the special nasi goreng. Tasteles..!!

Overall experience was not really happy, but nevertheless this restaurant has a lot of rooms to improve cause it has a huge potential to be better.

The staff was great, they have a very genuine hospitality to all guest. Even though they look like need they need an additional staff.

Definitely will come back and hope that they will be improving, especially on the food. Thanks...

Recently, my family and I visited CataVaca Restaurant in Jatiluwih, Tabanan, Bali to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Located in Jatiluwih, Tabanan, this restaurant offers a stunning view of the beautiful green rice terraces. The atmosphere is very serene and comfortable, making it perfect for family gatherings. The decor is elegant with traditional Balinese touches, adding to the comfort and warmth. One of the most enjoyable aspects of this restaurant is the swing they provide. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The swing not only offers a fun experience but also provides spectacular views of the surrounding nature. The restaurant offers a variety of unique and delicious dishes. One of the most memorable for me was lak-lak, a traditional Balinese dish made from rice flour and served with grated coconut and palm sugar. The sweet taste and soft texture of lak-lak were truly delightful. Additionally, the other food options were very satisfying and presented attractively. The service at CataVaca Restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly especially ADIS & professional, and very attentive to customers’ needs. They ensured that we felt comfortable and satisfied throughout our visit. Overall, CataVaca Restaurant in Jatiluwih, Tabanan, Bali is the perfect place to celebrate special moments with family. The beautiful scenery, enjoyable activities like the swing, unique food such as lak-lak, and friendly service made our experience very memorable. BEST RESTAURANT OUTSIDE THE MAIN PART OF JATILUWIH

I've been here so many times but just got a time to put the review. If you're tired of the crowded in the central part of Jatiluwih, especially at lunch time, I really recommend you to come here. Located before ticket checking and little bit remote, but has better view and less crowded people on the rice field. The place is quite big, has a lot of dining table, and some attractions. They serve indonesian food, vegetarian, western, pizza, side dish, and dessert. For drink they serve coffee, juice, tea, milkshake, cokctail, and mocktail. I ordered Ayam Bakar Madu, Gurami Nyatnyat, and Special Pancake. The Ayam Bakar Madu was perfect, very soft, and the sambal was tasty and spicy. That Gurami Nyatnyat was also good, the nyatnyat soup was good, the fish was not so dry but still enjoyable, honorable mention for the sambal matah, it was really nice. I really wanted to try their Laklak, since they said it was different than general Laklak. But we came just after rain, and they needed a lot of time to prepare the Laklak. Instead, I ordered Special Pancake as dessert with ice cream. It was comfort dessert, so not much thing to comment. They also have side attractions like kids playground and Bali Swing, same like Ubud's but cheaper. I think this is the only swing in Jatiluwih. I tried and it was fun!! Such amazing...
