Santya Loka Lodge & Twin Waterfall — Hotel in Pulau Bali

One of my fav stay at Bali. I regret not staying here few more days and plan to comeback again. The place is mesmerizing, cozy and quiet, away from touristy hustles. It's 40 mins away from Ubud's touristy bustling. The neighbourhood alone is pretty scenic with several waterfalls, streams, rice terrace, mountain views.

Lodge Room is minimalistic and cozy with simple furnitures. Room doesnt have AC, as you don't need it in mountainous weather. Day time is hot, table fan does it's work just fine. Hosts have a cute garden front growing passion fruits, tomatoes, cucumber, papaya etc. yummy fresh tomatoes juice for breakfast was so delish. Washroom clean and spacious. The property has great amazing view and rice terrace just feets away. Twin waterfall with the property is 300meter walk down, n It's like your own sanctuary.

Host couple so welcoming, cordial and made me feel home. Also supported with many infirmation including finding vehicle for drop down...

We had a very disappointing experience at this place. The location in the rice fields is beautiful, but our room was full of ants — we woke up in the middle of the night with thousands of ants crawling over the bed, our luggage, and the floor. It seemed like they were nesting inside the bed frame.

The owners moved us to another room during the night, but the new room was less comfortable, not very clean, and had a worse view. The included breakfast, served at another hotel down the road, was also below expectations.

After this experience, we decided to check out after one night instead of staying for the entire booking — and it was absolutely the right decision, as we enjoyed the rest of our stay somewhere else.

Unfortunately, the owners refused to offer any refund or compensation for the unused nights, referring us to their booking agency, which also...

A very warm welcome that i experience during my stay in Santya Loka from the owners. it's more than just a place to stay. I treasure some interesting activities and experiences day by day. The lodge has a path to magical twin waterfalls, combined with breathtaking view of rice fields in front of the lodge. You also can do some hiking activity to the hilly place with fresh air in the morning and have breakfast with rice field and mountains view..furthermore at night we can witness beautiful moonlight in front of our room. It's a perfect place to stay if you need some quiet moment. The place is also near some attractive places like Pura Ulun Danu-Bedugul, the blooms garden, luna beach club, Tanah Lot, and Ubud.

Hope we can visit this beautiful place again with our beloved...
