I decided to have a week-long celebration with over 20 guests to have and celebrate my wedding on the villa itself, and must say I’m so glad I picked this location! Everything about it was perfect and authentically Bali. From the beautiful scenery, lovely rooms, great air conditioning, daily maid service and amazing staff - couldn’t have been a better experience.
I booked all three conjoining villas and I’m glad I did as we weren’t asked to turn music off well into the night as we didn’t have to worry about bothering other guests staying next door. I still say be respectful as you’re in a neighborhood but so long as you aren’t blasting music and being unreasonably loud you’ll be fine if you book all three. Also - tip well ;)
Yes there are harmless geicos and mosquitoes but they provide fogging and spray and it was manageable. And yes there was construction but it was almost unnoticeable, especially if you play a little music while in the pools.
Without a doubt anyone who leaves complaints about this place is being very unreasonable. I don’t know what more you could ask of a villa in Bali or anywhere really, and def not for this price point. I would stay again and highly recommend!
For older guests: be aware the bathtubs are a little hard to get into and the stairs have no railings. Otherwise: amazing!
The place is extremely walkable with tons of great breakfast and dinner restaurants, massage parlors, and a circle K in very close short walk.
If you’re looking for amazing catering: try Mimpi Catering in Canggu. They did our brunches, dinners, table decor and flower arch / path decorations and I couldn’t be more pleased or blown away.
The acrylic deck over the pool I got through the host.
Thanks again Villas Rimba! I hope to be back again someday - maybe for our...
Read moreVilla is outdated and overpriced.
We paid for one extra bed but ended up with two by mistake. We told the staff to take out the second extra bed because it’s a mistake and we don’t wanna get charged but the staff said it’s “free”.
But apparently after we checked out the management tried to charge us for that second extra bed that was given for “free” by the staff.
The bed in all rooms are actually big enough to accomodate 3 asian people. But I guess it’s strictly only for 2 people to sleep in one bed. LOL even 5 stars hotels arent as fussy as this villa.
The villa next to us was partying with full volume and super loud we couldn’t even hear our conversation with each other.
But apparently there’s curfew at 10 pm so the party stop and we finally can start having our quality time that we couldn’t have because of the loud noise of the party. But well, even if we’re not partying (we’re just talking) we still get knocked on the door several times by the staff telling us to shut up.
So if you’re a group who likes to stay up late and chat or even to party , don’t stay at this villa.

Read moreI stayed in this villa (Ora) for 3 nights and 4 days witha group of 9 people. Overall villa has a stunning view and as the view is what shown in the picture. Staffs and the service were really great, they are quite attentive.
However I was really dissapointed with the villa quality. It was way different than what shown in the picture. All the bedroom doors are made of not sure how to describe, but poor quality of steel hence all bedroom doors were rusty, and some have holes. The same case for all bedroom windows and you can see the kitchen is not well maintained as rust and fungus were all over the kitchen walls and faucets.
Many spots on the walls u can find paint crackings as shown in the picture.
Bed sheets have some stains tho not that many.
Bathroom cleanliness : many soaps stains all over the shower, I think this can be cleaned when done properly.
Overall the villa is below my expectation and not worth the USD 700/night that I booked through airbnb.
Hope this helps others to choose wisely and not deceived by...
