Anda Hotel — Hotel in Sulawesi

We stayed here as a walk-in for three nights. All rooms except the family room cost Rs475,000. This is poor value for money but I gained the feeling that accommodation in Bira is likewise. There seemed to be no good mid-range places, only wildly expensive or very basic and poor value. ||At Anda Bungalows there are no wooden rooms as mentioned in LP, only the older cement ones with damp a metre up the walls or the eight new rooms at the back. Also the lovely landscaped garden mentioned by LP is not lovely or at least not in the dry season. The large restaurant was where breakfast was served but was not open on Saturday night. We unfortunately tried it on Sunday night. There were only four customers but we waited a very long time. When our dish of vegetables finally arrived it had clearly been cooked with the chicken vegetable dish ordered by the other table, even though we had particularly asked for no chicken.||Our room was apparently so new that it was not finished although whether completion or decay arrives first is, I think, in question. We had a queen sized comfortable bed with fresh white linen, a small flat-screen TV with one English Fox channel, air-con and basic wooden furniture. However there was not a hanger, hook or horse anywhere to put your towel. The room was only serviced once.||The bathroom had a western toilet, basin and cold water shower, which is okay in this climate. However whenever the toilet was flushed, water gushed all over the floor. When I pointed this out, the staff promptly fitted the rubber flange that stopped this, though why it had been installed (and rented) without it was unclear. I was also able to secure a clothes horse.||Breakfast was reasonable as, in addition to fruit, tea/coffee and jam toast, pancakes, eggs and nasi goreng could be ordered fresh.||Arriving on a Friday, Bira was as dead as a stone but Friday night and Saturday bring bus loads of mainly local tourists and this place can be booked out. Private transport to Makassar can be arranged for Rs600,000 through the hotel. Ours arrived 25 minutes late with a hoon driver.||In summary, with poor presentation, poor maintenance, poor value and poor service, how else could I...

NUL!!!NUL !!! NUL !!!||||nous ne sommes pas exigeant de manière generale, mais j’incite tout le monde à fuir cet hotel!!!||||Dans un premier temps nous (2 adultes et 2 enfants) avions choisi un autre hotel (cosmos bungalows), dont les avis sont bien meilleurs, mais notre guide a effectué la reservation trop tard (soit disant….voir la suite du message), et nous a incité (fortement d’ailleurs...bizarre) à aller à Anda bungalows, soit disant plus cher et mieux||A notre arrivée, pas un sourire : une grosse femme qu’on a l’air de reveiller nous accueille froidement et nous remets les clefs (et un jus « chimique » de bienvenue offert, mais j’aurais vraiment preferé un sourire)||Quand on connaît la gentillesse des indonesiens, celle-ci était vraiment l’exception qui confirme la règle.||Nous avions reservé une nuit, et le lendemain nous avions prevu d’aller à la plage de Bira et sur l’ile de Liukang en face pour nous baigner. Le soir J+1 nous reprenions la route pour Makassar pour rentrer par avion en France||||Nous avons alors demandé si nous pouvions juste nous doucher à notre retour de la plage pour nous « de-saler ». 14 heures d'avion en étant encore plein de sel sur la peau aurait rendu le retour vraiment desagréable||La seule reponse que nous avons eu a été: si vous voulez utiliser la douche d’un bungalows, c’est possible, mais vous devrez payer une nuit complete supplementaire !!!! un nuit complete pour une douche de 5 minutes (sans eau chaude evidemment) !!!! ben voyons….||||Dans leur « immense » bonté, ils nous ont proposé un sceau d’eau disponible dans les toilettes « à la turc !!!!! »||L’indonesie est un super pays, avec des gens adorables, mais il faut eviter cet hotel coute que coute !!!||Sur cet hotel, un mot me vient à l’esprit, mais je ne peux l’ecrire car les moderateurs Tripadvisor me le refuseraient : pour les français, ca commence par A…..||Par ailleurs, l’hotel est sale, je joins des photos des poubelles juste devant le bungalows : une montagne de bouteilles en plastique devant la porte !!!!||pas d’eau chaude, une douche qui fuit de partout, des serviettes et des draps remplis de taches, une climatisation hors service dans 1 des 2 bungalows (nous avions reservé 2 bungalows, 1 pour nous et un pour les enfants). Bref tout simplement honteux !!!!||Il y a sur Bira de nombreux hotels bien meilleurs au même prix.||Le soir, nous avons rencontré dans un Warung « le Warung Bamboo », (tres bon) , deux jeunes filles indonesiennes en vacances qui nous ont gentiment proposé de venir prendre notre douche dans leur hotel : il est juste à coté de Anda Bungalows et absolument charmant : entierement neuf !!! plein de charme et quasiment au même prix. Il s'agit du Balatoa ||Je le recommande fortement, pour ceux qui ont un budget similaire à Anda Bungalow. ||Concernant Anda Bungalows, vu la prestation, je ne pense pas que ca dure longtemps, d’autant que de nouveaux hotels beaucoup mieux apparaissent un peu partout. Vivement qu’ils fassent faillite, ca evitera aux touristes de gacher leur sejour sur Bira.||Je pense que notre guide devait s’arranger pour envoyer ses clients dans l’hotel moyennant une comission. Mais si votre guide vous dit que c’est bien, n’acceptez pas et fuyez...et changer de guide au passage, car si un guide vous dit que l’hotel est bien, c’est que le guide est mauvais….||||Ceci dit, Bira est assez sympa et je conseille l’ile de Lyukang en face, avec de jolis bungalows pour dormir sur l’ile, sans voiture, du snorkeling assez joli, sans bruit, bref bien depaysant. Et comme toujours au Sulawesi, les gens super gentils (sauf au Anda bungalows évidemment…) : les inoubliables et interminables séances selfies avec nos enfants et les jeunes indonesiennes sur la plage ...trop chouette!!!!)||Michael, Stephanie,...

Sebenarnya apabila berani investasi sedikit lagi, maka Hotel Anda akan menjadi salah satu Hotel Elit di Sulawesi Selatan.

Elit dengan arti kata sesungguhnya lhooo 🤣

Yaa, susah juga sih kalau mau invest banyak-banyak, secara perjalanan menuju lokasi dari Kota Makassar memakan waktu yang cukup melelahkan, hasilnya? relatif sih, bagi yang ga pernah tau pantai, mungkin ini sangat luar biasa buat mereka.

Namun, bagi yang sudah menikmati banyak pantai di Indonesia, mungkin akan mengatakan "segini aja??!"

Yang jelas, ada yang bener-bener sulit didapat di pantai "elit" lain selain di Pantai Bira, yaitu tempat tinggal yang "layak" dengan harga yang pantas.

Hotel Anda mungkin dapat dijadikan referensi dan pilihan yang cocok, tidak terlalu mewah, namun punya sesuatu yang menjadi icon dan instagrammable yang setidaknya dapat melunasi harga yang cukup mahal dibanding fasilitas yang diberikan.

Hotel Anda memiliki pintu masuk khusus menuju bibir pantai, apabila tidak mau melewati pintu khusus tersebut, jarak hotel menuju bibir pantai juga sangat dekat.

Pilihan kamar ada yang twin bed dan single bed, tidak jauh berbeda dengan hotel-hotel di sekitaran Bira lainnya, nuansanya dibuat alami menggunakan perpaduan kayu dan pohon khas tempat tinggal pinggir pantai.

Ohya, Hotel ini sepertinya hotel senior kalau dilihat dari bangunannya, waktu saya nginap di sana, hotelnya sepi sih.

Ada 2 nih yang mungkin bikin hotel ini ga ramai padahal lokasinya benar-benar menarik, yaitu (mungkin lho, yaa) : letak receptionist desk-nya yang seharusnya menjadi front office yang pertama kali menyambut tamu berada di bagian tengah hotel, bukan di depan hotel sebagaimana hotel umumnya. Yaa intinya ga ada greeters yang standby di depan hotel buat nyambut dan mengarahkan tamu. Bisa saja banyak tamu yang pengen nginap, jadinya batal karena ga nemu orang di hotel. 😅 ya, sudah umum sih, kalau bangunan senior memiliki kesan yang, hiiii 😨😱👻

Tapi, ada lah hal bikin orang-orang perlu mencoba Hotel Anda, misalnya menu makanan di restaurannya, cukup enak meski tidak terlalu banyak pilihan dan ada nih yang jarang banget ditemukan di hotel lain, yaitu view dari "deck kapal" bisalah bikin kenyang mata.

Restaurantnya bertemakan Kapal Layar, mungkin phinisi(?) lebih keliatan seperti kapal bajak laut sih 😝🤭🤩, desain bangunannya menyerupai sebuah kapal besar, kerenlah.

Sekian review saya tentang Hotel Anda, semoga Pemerintah Daerah lebih memperhatikan infrastruktur jalan raya, menyiapkan masterplan tata ruang wilayah Bira dan sekitar, penyederhanaan ijin untuk investor sehingga investor ga males duluan buat ngembangin wilayah ini, yang pastinya pendidikan buat masyarakat sekitar untuk disiapkan lebih baik supaya penyerapan tenaga kerja terutama bagi warga sekitar bisa...
