Hotel Santika Pandegiling Surabaya — Hotel in Surabaya

I stayed at this hotel on August 24th, 2016. It was my second staying with my parents and aunt and we really enjoyed it. We had 2 rooms with connecting door; spacious, clean and comfort. All the staff was very helpful, super friendly and they smiled a lot, which made me happy and raised my mood up. I felt like being treated like family. The food at this hotel was amazing. Both breakfast and dinner always cooked to a very high standard and there was plenty of choice.

My father's car was pretty dirty when we arrived Surabaya from Semarang. And the next morning, we found the car was surprisingly clean. Oh wow, not all hotels provide this service. Even those 5 stars hotels, you need to ask them to wash your car. So thank you Santika Hotel for this. Yay!! What a great service!

I will be gladly to come back and stay at the Santika Hotel Pandegiling again. It will always be my first choice every time I come to Surabaya. The room is very noisy (near main road). Even its 1am, I can still hear a lot of motorcycle and even ambulance. Pls see other review too. The window not soundproof which I regret not reading it before.

Location is pretty far from airport (40min driving exclude traffic jam).

But I would say the hotel staff is friendly.

Just that the room is very2 noisy. Im rushing to airport tomorrow and still couldnt asleep until 1am (in fact I end up writing this review).

If u have kids/parent/ rushing to work early morning, I dont think this is suitable place to stay.

If the google review has option to add video, you can all hear the noise from the room (I stay at level 6). I read some people whp even stay at level 10 has the same review as mine.

Conclusion: hotelnya staff ramah dan bersih. Tapi hotelnya berisik banget karena dekat jalan raya. Tidak rekomendasi untuk yg bawa anak/ orang tua/ buru2 kerja di pagi hari. Ga bisa tidur beneran deh. Pls check other review yg...

I always choose to stay at a Santika Hotel when traveling in Indonesia. Staff are friendly and service is courteous. But I was disappointed during my stay last 22/3/19 at Santika Pandegiling Surabaya. Booked through Traveloka and placed request for a non smoking room. Non smoking room unavailable when I checked in, was given an upgrade, which is nice. Smoke residue odour still strong in room and had to suffer through coughing bouts due to allergy to the strong smell. Asked for change of rooms, but was told that the other available room is also a smoking room. Very disappointed as I did call beforehand to inform on late check in and request of non smoking room.
