Came in the morning, honestly in wait for a wedding event at the church across the street. But boy am I glad to crash here for a bit. Such a low key exterior of a place, until you step in and the whole ambience is so vibin n homey. Just like one of them mom n pops bar place in the States. Feels like Home✨ Staff greeted me in a warm manner and led me to the outdoor back, on point n interesting decors all around, love it! Cappuccino fairly good, need stronger beans. But the Gyoza was oh soooooo good 👌🏻 Perfect breakfast IMO. Can't wait to come back and enjoy it during night time with live music n all. Until next time, keep going strong HOPS💪🏻🔥 Highly recommended fer sure*

Sudah mau coba Hops dari lama. Lokasi di tengah kota (belakang BCA Raya Darmo, dekat Sinlui). Akhirnya keturutan makan di sini. Ternyata pas kami datang banyak banget yg parkir. Bisa parkir di pinggir2 jalan. Tempatnya ada indoor dan outdoor. Indoornya bisa smoking. Kami pilih outdoor karena kami banyak orang, juga tidak terlalu bau rokok daripada di indoor. Tapi indoornya masih jauh lebih mending daripada Holyw*ngs ataupun Pizza E B*rra yang bau banget jadi meskipun di indoor masih bisa ditoleransi. Meskipun outdoor dia ada AC nya dan Air Purifiernya (cukup kaget ada ini), jadi ga panas dan udaranya bersih. Hampir ga kecium bau rokok si di luar. Ada TVnya juga jadi cocok banget buat yang suka nobar. Kami duduknya di meja kayu yg panjang banget yang bisa muat sampe 16 orangan. Saya cuman coba pork knuckle nya karena emang sudah mau coba dari lama dan katanya enak banget. Ketika saya coba emang enak. Dagingnya banyak dan ga bau sama sekali. Ada kerupuk rambaknya, kentang gorengnya juga enak. Ada bumbu dan sambalnya. Kalau ada bumbunya yg kecut2 bakal lebih perfect lagi si. Dibandingkan yg terakhir aku makan di Loop (Gr*lled Factory) enak ini jauh. Still in search for the best pork knuckle. Ada menu halalnya kok jangan khawatir. Servicenya juga oke banget. Suasanya cozy dan vibesnya enak aja. Kayu2 agak remang2, mirip yg di luar negeri. Ga heran di sini penuh tapi masih nyaman. Dan ada live musicnya. Suara bandnya enak, meskipun keras tapi kita masih bisa ngomong sama sebelah kita ga kayak tempat lain. Untuk harga juga worth it. Buat vibes 10/10, pork knuckle 9/10, service 9/10. Overall sangat recommended!

Hops Bar is excellent: upfront and honest pricing, knowledgeable and engaged staff, great band and a lovely environment/atmosphere. It also has a very extensive selection of beers. My friend and I had a great Monday night at this bar. The best evening experience in Surabaya. Our waiter, Q, was very charming, professional and friendly. He is a credit to the bar. Having said that, we found everyone very nice here. I have no hesitation in recommending this bar to everyone in or vising Surabaya.

The vibe and interior decor is good. Somewhat dark but cosy. The place is sectioned up into a few diff areas so it feels like semi-private dining.

Large variety of drinks and food options. Menu is in English. I got the Whiskey Sour and Chicken Chop (with cooked slad and potato wedges). The Chicke Chop sauce was tasty and tangy, but I felt that the chicken portion was small.

There's supposed live music at 8pm. But I left before that. I wanted to try their Pork Kuckle but price was a bit high and I think it might have been too much for me...

The popcorn tasted so good the drinks and mixed platter also very good. The place is cozy the prices are also fine but the service wasn't really good,the waitress sat on the table next to us while writing our orders. He didn't leave us alone while we read the menu,well it would be nice if you leave the customer alone after gave them the menu list so they have time to read and decide what they want without the feeling of being watched, waited for and a bit uncomfortable. Over all everything else were good just need a lil bit improvement on...
