Roemah Canting — Hotel in Yogyakarta

Nice place. Is a home but feels like a small hotel. Staff tried to help arrange taxi, arranged our very early breakfast. |Room was quite clean but the shower is not good. Water goes everywhere and taking a shower is quite a challenge. The refreshing balls they use in the bathroom smell so bad through the entire room. These should be used in the toilet not on the bathroom floor (3 pieces). |One other thing; the lady who prepared us breakfast was really nice. But after some nice talk she first asked for foreign money for her collection and after that she started telling us what she earns and that it's not enough for her kids to go to school. Roemah Canting is an excellent bed and breakfast with great atmosphere and design. It is great place to stay for family or school reunion. All rooms are air conditioned, plasma TV, and Karaoke in the living room. They have 13 rooms for 27 people as there is one bedroom for 3 people and the rest are for 2 people. It is a very nice home, very clean, very nice staff, and very good breakfast is included. The location is a little bit far from Malioboro Street but it is not really a problem as we brought our own cars and we can always rent cars or call for taxis. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely will come back or recommend to other families...

Really a great experience to stay 3D2N here. I booked the whole house for reunion. It has 11 rooms in total. 1 family room, 1 single room, 4 deluxe rooms (1 of them is twin bed), and 5 double rooms (1 of them is twin bed). The rooms are clean and well maintained. The TV, water heater, shower, etc really works well. There’s pool in it, so kids are really happy. The parking lot is quite wide. The staffs are very helpful. All we need was always ready😅.
