A five star restaurant for me. Flawless taste for Indonesian cuisine. My family's fav are woku kakap n sup ikan kuah asam. Don't forget to try bubur manado, with its light taste of sweet n savory. Ganemo (I forgot the name, but it's a stir fry of papaya flower) is also worth to try. For kids veggies, we can order tumis kangkung (water spinach) without chilli. Sambal dabu2 can add more taste if we like it spicier. Last but not least, the rujak is so fresh. It's more to lotis than rujak for me, with separate peanut sauce. They also have tables outdoor if you prefer a warm night atmosphere. It's an old building with lots of windows and it kinda gives out a colonial vibes. The food is amazing! Not sure if it's authentic as I haven't experienced the authentic manado cuisine myself! But it's reaaally good imo. (They have a 'serious' kitchen!) Read moreOne of the standout Manadonese restaurants in Yogyakarta.
Dapur Manado offers a delightful culinary experience. The dishes we tried, including complete yellow rice, complete mixed rice, and snapper dabu-dabu, were all incredibly flavorful.
While the snacks: panada and cucur, could use a bit of refinement. The overall quality and affordability make this restaurant a worthwhile choice.
The service might be a bit slow, but it doesn't detract from the enjoyable dining experience.
Highly recommended for those seeking authentic Manadonese cuisine in Yogyakarta.
