GELGAMESH HOTEL — Hotel in Baghdad

That was according to my long travel experience the worst hotel in my whole life|1) extremely unfriendly staff and reception, they didn’t even talk to us when we arrived and just silently one showed up and accompanied us to our rooms, 3 persons in 3 separate rooms. Ignoring our salute and our enquiries.|2) at the middle of the night a guy came and knocked our doors asking for the staying fees to be all payed in advance, and when we payed that they were refusing to give us bills, although after arguing the gave us bills finally.|3) the bowls that were serving the breakfast in were not washing them daily after the breakfast time, and at the evenings one can see the food remains inside them and the dried food layers on the surfaces and plates of many prior days, you can imagine the smell of liquids and fluids in those bowls now. |4) WC and showers were in the same toilet rooms with the shower pouring on the toilet seat and every single centimeter of the space. And altogether were very dirty. |5) the rooms were having poor aeration, bad smelling, too noisy and not clean regarding the tables and bed sheets.|6) the electricity generator were placed somewhere under our room windows so close that it’s sound was depriving us from sleep as long as they...

Recently renovated hotel. Large bright rooms with windows. Price is excellent. Nice cold aircondition. Excellent staff. Central location. Bathroom very clean and good size.
