I am so happy that this was my first hotel during my travels in Iraq! Shaima has been a lovely host and she speaks English and Arabic. The service was incredible with a delicious breakfast included and tea downstairs. Shaima also assisted me with what to visit in Baghdad and Iraq in general. The rooms were very nice with A/C, comfortable beds and sheets. The area is quiet at night and close to Karada street with restaurants and shops. If you are travelling to Baghdad for this first time this is a great option...

This is a great hotel. It was pretty cheap but much cleaner and nicer than the cheaper options (e.g., Hotel Diwan). Great free breakfast, comfortable beds, really helpful staff. It's run by a family and the father took my friend around the city, just to be nice. When i checked out, they gave me food even though it was before the official breakfast hour. My only complaint is the mosque nearby that wakes...
