Avoid this hotel
I stayed at this hotel and was utterly disappointed at the hotel, staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.
First - the rooms were absolutely disgusting. Unclean. Dirt in every corner and the bedsheets were covered in filth. There were dead spiders in the room which seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned and there were bed bugs everywhere. We woke up to bed bug bites and it ruined our stay in Iraq.
On top of that - there was a weird smell throughout the hotel with very dirty bathrooms which were broken, often with electrics being exposed and overall just very dangerous.
Make matters worse; the staff were horrible. They overcharged me by $120 on my stay and when I confronted them; they said they use different rates which were in fact much higher than market rates. When I showed them proof of my booking on booking.com and the price I was quoted; they simply refused to acknowledge and under duress I overpaid by $120. Staff made no effort to make this into an enjoyable stay.
Horrible Hotel. Horrible Staff who rip you off and over charge. Please save your money and...
Read moreI had a truly wonderful experience at ( Noor land hotel) . From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The check-in process was smooth, and I was even offered a complimentary welcome drink, which was a nice touch after a long day of travel.
The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything I needed—from a comfortable bed and quality linens to fast Wi-Fi and a spacious bathroom. I especially appreciated the little details like fresh towels daily and the thoughtful turndown service.
The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options. The hotel’s location was perfect—close to major attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep.
Above all, it was the exceptional service that made my stay memorable. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing,...
Read moreI stayed here twice at the beginning and the end of my trip, both stays were mostly comfortable with a few caveats.||The rooms are currently being renovated and in various states of completion. My first room had new carpeting, but no new paint and an old bathroom. My second room had new furniture and a finished new bathroom, but old carpet and had not been painted (stains on the ceiling and bathroom, especially unsightly). others in our group had similar experiences with rooms in various states of renovation, so be aware that this is ongoing, there will also be construction noise in the morning if you plan to sleep late.||I am an early riser, so the noise never bothered me, I also enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. The hotel is well located and staff are very friendly and helpful. For Baghdad, this is a great option for foreign visitors, if anything for the strong reliable air conditioning, and once renovations are completed, it has the potential to be the best...
