Balcony Restaurant — Restaurant in Baghdad

The Balcony Restaurant boasts some expensive prices, and unfortunately, the experience doesn't quite justify the hefty bill. While it might be one of the few places serving alcohol, that alone doesn't make for a great dining experience.

Food: The food here is just okay. It's decent, but nothing to write home about. You won't be disappointed, but you also won't be blown away.

Ambiance: The tables are crammed a bit too close together, making for a lack of privacy and a somewhat uncomfortable dining experience. It feels more crowded than it should be. The music selection also felt outdated.

Service: The staff at Balcony Restaurant are friendly, but there's a sense of inexperience. They might seem a bit clumsy at times, and service can be slow.

Overall: It's a shame because the staff is friendly, but the high prices, just-okay food, cramped seating make Balcony Restaurant a bit underwhelming. There are better options out there...

Be aware of the parking guys!

Note that this restaurant has a free parking service, however, their employees who get you the car keys on your way out, they will "ask you" for 5k IQD per car, when they think you're drunk or this is your first time here.

5k IQD is nothing, but when they scam you for it, it's no longer about money anymore, but about honesty and dignity.

I don't want to mention anything about the restaurant itself, because with a management that keeps those scamers outside, I have no well to mention anything...
