Read moreWhat a fabulous guest house. The rooms are spacious and full of charm. Spotless and comfortable. Loved everything about this place. Rooms were serviced seamlessly and promptly and as we stayed 6 nights it was lovely to be able to sit comfortably in the rooms with chair and table rather than just have to be on the bed or there was the option to spend time in the comfortable drawing room or conservatory. We could store lunch in the fridge ready for our daily hikes and breakfast was lovely. The welcome and friendliness of staff and owners is just a delight. They are so helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ballyrafter - you feel part of the family. The house is beautiful as is the decor and the garden and flowers add to the country house feel. Great location and if I return to this area I’ll be sure...

As there are not many eating places open early in the week, dinner was provided on request and was most enjoyable - fish and steak choice, not sure about vegetarians. Very relaxing...
