We stayed at Hotel Tea Dolomiti for four nights in May (off season in Alleghe).
The hotel itself is in a great location for exploring the local and wider area, and has an amazing view of the lake. The car park is also very close to the hotel, which is helpful.
The service of the hotel staff was what made this stay extra special. Massimo was there the whole time we stayed. He was always there to help, and would go above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed - making cappuccinos, making a wonderful dinner one night, greeting us first thing in the morning, preparing breakfasts, helping us with any queries we had about the hotel or local area. A wonderful and warm man - a true hero of the hospitality world!
The hotel lobby felt relaxed and welcoming.
The room we had was looking onto the lake and had a balcony; this was great. Unfortunately the room itself was very basic and felt very outdated, although it was clean. The balcony would benefit from having some outdoor seating available. We would give the hotel a 5 star rating if the rooms were modernised.
In summary, the quality-to-price ratio of the hotel is fair and we would stay here again (but hope the rooms have been upgraded by then!). We'd hope Massimo would greet us again!
Thank you for a...

I made a mistake when booking this hotel and unfortunately, it was not possible to get a refund due to the booking policy. However, the hotel manager went above and beyond to help us solve the issue. He kindly allowed us to change the dates of our stay and even upgraded us to a better room, understanding that we had already paid a significant amount and couldn’t cancel. I want to sincerely thank the hotel staff — the manager was incredibly friendly, understanding, and professional. People often focus on the flaws of a hotel, but the truth is, every hotel has its minor imperfections, and they are usually easy to fix. What’s truly rare and valuable is finding a team that is genuinely caring and dedicated to helping guests. That kind of service makes all the difference. Thank you once again — I wish you continued success and many...
Read moreThere are a few things that I found irritating that made staying here difficult. The wifi almost never worked and since the purpose of my trip was rock climbing it was almost impossible to track the weather, research routes and plan ahead. The bathroom shower was tiny one square meter protected by a curtain that would spray water throughout the bathroom. They should extend its size and install a water barrier. They don't allow eating in your room either. They advertise some rooms as having mountain views while they look into a hill/cliff a few meters from your window with no actual view. Advertising mountain views is very misleading and they should call that out. The lake views are incredible. Parking is 12 euros a night and in front of the hotel. They have a partnership with the Eurosport hotel across the bay where you can get 10% meals which was actually...
