B&B Il Gatto Stanco — Hotel in Arona

I don’t normally write about my past experiences but this place warrants such high reviews and i feel the need to mention how brilliant this place is , credit where credit is due this place is a hidden gem and the owners should be proud of themselves for the high service and pride they take in ensuring their guests enjoy their time in their lovely B&B .||Simon and Roberta were the most Fantastic , helpful , kindest hosts i have ever had the pleasure to meet and i have stayed in many many hotels and B&Bs over the years, we could not have asked for anything more . ||Breakfast Roberta put out for us was unbelievable. ||The bedrooms were huge , clean and modern with everything you need with the most comfiest bed i have slept in . Bathrooms new and contemporary. ||The rooms were cleaned and the beds made up every day. ||There’s a beautiful seating area outside to enjoy. Which we did . ||Secure parking. ||No noise at night at all and just few minutes’ walk from shops , bars , restaurants and lake. ||Simon and Roberta recommended a restaurant on top of the Mountain which was one of the best experiences we have ever had , the food was lovely and the views were incredible. ||Roberta and Simon made sure we were comfy , happy and had everything we needed at all times . ||what a lovely place . A Must stay for all ages when visiting or near Arona ||Will go back again...

This a fantastic B&B, ran by the lovely and attentive Robbie and Simon (and Seb). We arrived for our stay and found very well presented spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and cracking en suite facilities. It also has off road gated parking and a great veranda and social area. A short walk into town and we found numerous places to eat and drink with lots to see. I can't thank our hosts enough for their help and hospitality, the mountain top restaurant was a once in a life time find and we would have never even considered this if it was not for Simon's recommendation - the journey, the food, the view... it made my holiday, eating beautiful ravioli looking over snow capped mountains feeling blessed for the experience. ||||Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, I wouldn't hesitate to book this B&B again and highly recommend to anybody looking to stay...

One of the best B & Bs we have ever been to. Well appointed, lovely and comfortable and just the most delicious breakfast provided by the lovely Roberta each morning - a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, bread, pastries, cake, fresh orange juice and plenty of coffee, all served on the terrace outside. The B & B is located towards the back of the town, perhaps a 15 - 20 minute walk from the lake front, and this means that you feel you are staying with the locals rather than amongst all the other tourists which I enjoyed. There is an excellent pizzeria just down the road that is used mostly by locals and is much cheaper than the tourist restaurants along the lakefront. What more...
