Good aspects:1) location, which is amazing and great place for relaxastion 2) Staff, who are friendly and helpful3) Cleanliness4) Facilities5) Price6) lunch and dinner (the only problem here was that we had line up several minutes )7) Pool, spacious enough, clean, lovely viewThings to be improved :1) Breakfast, which was not at the level of a 4 star hotel2) minibar in the room, (we took a package which the minibar was included but the minibar had only 1 bottle of water and cold tea and a boiler, which is literally nothing, when they mention minibar one would expect way more than that)3) Staff (they were friendly and helpful but not for non-Italian guests, because they mostly coul not speak English, if I did not know a bit of Italian I would have faced a big problem)4) pool : A) there were no bar inside the pool ,they told me the bar was open only during the summer time,which is pity if you wanna stay for more hours inside the pool B) the lockers inside the pool are with the real locks those of a thousands years ago , which is really bad gesture for a 4 star hotel C) the number of hydro massages were very few and we always had to wait for other people to give up the palce! 5) for using any facilities we had to have an electronic card with us which this could be improved by a simple electronic bracelet 6) masseurs (they were not expert at all, at least those gave massage to us, we took a thai massage which was not thai at all) 7) Relaxing areas, they were not big enough to have room for all the people and the herbal tea container there was always empty 8) accessories in bathroom, they were at the level of a bed and breakfast 9) Rooms, our room was great but the view which we had was toward a construction area, they could announce this to us before so we would not pay for a superior room to have an ugly construction view. 10) I always had difficulties calling the property before to go there , all the lines were always busy Conclusion: If the small little things, which I mentioned above and they can really rack on your nerve, will be solved I would definitely go there again and again...
Read moreWe are furious. Totally thoughtless and irresponsible behaviour of the staff at the hotel. We phoned and asked to come to the hotel with two dogs. The woman checked our requirement, advised an appropriate room for two dogs, added extras we wanted and send us a quote. All good. So we made our trip to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel a day later. The Reception checked availability of the room, all in order, the room is available. Then the reception staff asked what are the sizes of the dogs because they only accept dogs up to 15kgs. Our dogs are bigger than that: 17th and 25 kgs and they refused to let us in. I was gobsmacked. Why did they not ask us about the size or weight of dogs when they were speaking to us over the phone (on two separate occasions, two days in the row). Instead they were waiting for us to arrive at the hotel and only then remembered the rule about the weight of a dog. Very poor customer service, they didn’t care that we travelled all those miles to get to the hotel, no one took any responsibility , if anything the woman at the reception was very snappy. We left very disappointed, because we made plans in the area. Nonetheless we found another hotel nearby also with thermal bathes and spa. BOOKING/PRICE Most important: don’t book this place thru Booking because they will charge you twice the price of what’s on their website. Indeed, we paid 403 instead of 203. This is ROBBERY and it’s very unfair. On booking you will not find a single room, only a room for two and you can’t find a single if you need it so if you’re only one person, they will charge you, on booking, for two people.
ROOMS: overall clean, but we had two double rooms where one person slept on a whole “king/queen bed” and on the other room the same bed was just split in two which resulted in a very small bed. It’s almost like a kids bed and it was uncomfortable to sleep. I woke up a few times because I was almost falling from it. My suggestion: if you charge for a room two people, give a good bed, not split one bed in two and change for it more. So unfair.
CARDS: Our cards for entering the room didn’t work right away. I had to go back and forth to the reception 3 times until it all worked. Also, bracelets didn’t work for entering the pool for me and another person. Another problem with these
